The Void Darkplate worked so well on my healer that I decided to try it on my Serenity Great Sword Build as well. The armor feels good to me. I thought it was better than the Unyielding Heavy Helm Artifact but maybe I was just having a good day! Build at the end of the video. Check out my channel for more PvP!

I've tried light, medium and heavy in OPR.
This void dark plate gets me to almost 2000/2000 armor. It's insane. You actually live enough to deal damage with the greatsword now.
Just waiting for the patch for the magnify changes.

Yeah my company and I figured it was going to get nerfed anyway so I only used it for my first healer build with the pvp track gear once before it was nerfed.
Nice! What would you say its best in slot perks for tower shiled?
I was using a pvp track round shield here because I like Sturdy Fortification, but im not sure its the best perk you may want to ask one of the math nerds who crunch all the numbers for this game.
What is perk for your upgrade on the void darkplate?
I think health is generally the best perk but it’s really expensive right now so I’m holding off. Maybe shirking fortification if you can’t get afford health
Where is the heal coming from?
Unfortunately the chest is bugged and is not giving the correct amount of armor. Hopefully they fix it soon.
Is it giving too much armor? Because they should really not nerf it. It’s the only piece of armor that give melee a chance vs ranged right now on my opinion. Especially Firestaff and Blunderbuss, just way too strong in arenas.

Well maybe it would be overpowered if it gave your entire armor 20% because I seemed to be doing okay with it. It feels better than they heavy helm artifact @@dokanyon

Why medium and not heavy?
Medium does 10% more damage. Im working on a light vid as well. Heavy sometimes doesnt do enough DPS to get the job done in Arenas, its great in OPR tho.
How can u run so fast???
I bought a sword with Keen Speed for haste.
Why medium, why not heavy? More armor with heavy, and you can keep everything else the same.
You do 10% more healing and damage with medium and 20% in light armor. I find medium armor is plenty to stay alive so I’m using it for the bonus to heal and damage
