She became one of the biggest names on the planet overnight and has stayed up there. But she's stayed the Adele that was around in the early 2000s. For that, I love her.
I think you meant to say Rolling In The Deep. That was her biggest break and Someone Like You shot her through the ceiling like right afterwards because of the consistency. But still she is excellent, knew she’d be great once I really sat down and gave this song a chance. Such talent!
Adele came around in 2008 not the early 2 thousands. She became famous in the UK first but only a year later was she famous in the US after her SNL performance. She had a number 1 album there and won 2 grammys. Rolling In The Deep made her a superstar but she was very famous before that anyway.

Wow , life passes by so fast. it’s been 14 years but feels like yesterday 😢
It does. Can't believe so many years have passed and I am still in the same state. This is first time I am so long in one state and can't make forward. It is like tip of the iceberg and when it melts it doesn't go up only down down and backward it recedes and changes form from ice to water. I have never been this way before. In the same state. Not moving, moving but receding and back to triangle one. I don't even know what lies ahead or my timeline was this short. I feel like I have reached my x axis end and if I stepped forward only two things can happen, I would fall back towards zero or would fall to an abyss because there is no path forward. It is like black hole and my axes are the only things standing in the blackness of that hole. It is so dark there. So many years have passed and I am in the same coordinates. It is not moving at all.
I turn into an emotional wreck everytime I listen to you Adele... I was at your concert in Sydney.. and I thought to myself... if this is my last day on earth... I don't care anymore, I've seen and listened to Adele LIVE.... I love you... you are phenomenal... 2 people made my cry.... My father when he died and you Adele... when I saw you on stage.
