Onewheel GT Lightning Rails: First Impressions

- We've got some new Onewheel GT rails on the horizon. I think this is going to change some things drastically moving forward! Here are my couple thoughts after taking these Lightning Rails for a rip for a couple hours. Excited for mine to arrive!

The rumor about stronger GT vs XR hub conversions come from the fact that a lot of people don't have the conversions installed properly. Hairs of difference of stator placement make a HUGE difference in performance and especially instant torque. If you hear any noise on hard accelerations from stop in the 6.0 conversion - it's not done correctly.

I don't think I'm going to add these rails... I really like the stock look. I'm excited to see what future innovations come! I think the float life is working on a lowering kit as well. Exciting times! I'm loving me some flow!

Leary’s lowering kit is gonna be better and cheaper in my opinion
@@WarmasterSidious Yeah, Leary's lowering kit makes more sense to me too. But you wonder how much more tail drag you get from going downhill.

Float life coming out with a mod to drop the tire 1/2 an inch…. What if someone did that AND the lightning rails lol. The nose gonna drag hard AF? I got the enduro for my XR, suuuuper excited to put the enduro on my GT!!!

How are these rails after custom shaping? Even better?
Lower means the front scrapes more? Do you just drag the nose all the way up hill now?

I'm not an extreme rider like u, so I actually like tha stock trails, I like that clearance. All I'm waiting for is to buy my Enduro tire. 12psi plz 😎🙂

What shoe do you wear when riding, is it specifically use for Onewheel off-road ?
Do these help the pushback feel any less drastic? I’m riding street consistently around 24+ and the nose is so high and uncomfortable.
