Reading the Dale Carnegie book was such a small thing but it has had a really big effect on my social life over the past year that I have to reccomend it to literally everybody now 🤣🤣🤣
Being social and easygoing with people and networking was something that came natural to me. However, this year has been different. Not seeing people in real life and social media distancing made me a little awkward and not trying to communicate anymore. In a sense I didn’t understand the purpose and the importance of communication. I’m glad that this video brought me some clarification to how and why it nice to make friends/network with others. Thank you. Discovered you last week, and been watching your videos. I really enjoy your content. Keep it up!

Saw a feel comments crticising dale carnegie's principles and the message he had put across in his book. In actual fact, the principles of dale carnegie's "how to win friends" is built upon the idea of influence. The focus and rationale is not so much about oneself but on the peoole in the receiving end. It will only work if these principles are practiced genuinely and sincerely - an important aspect that he had mentioned countless times in his book. If these principles arnt practiced correctly, everything will backfire. Instead of being more charismatic/influential, one could end up being the complete opposite due to his/her unatural response by forcefully applying these principles out of practice without any sincere understanding/portrayal or intention.
Hit in the class, participate more in the extra curricular activities both inside and outside of uni, volunteer in social works, join the competition and get win (you will be the super star ⭐️)... Thanks for your nice topic!
well , true about asking ques and being interested in other . But asking too much questions is annoying ! U just have to see how they respond to ur question. If they are genuinely not interested in answering your ques then better stop .! ;)
As mentioned in the book, one of dale carnegie's most important principle is to talk on the other person's interst and hobby. Its one thing to ask questions and its another to ask good questions which the person on the receiving end would love to answer or talk about. Talk in terms of his/her passion/interst or a worthwhile cause that he or she resonates strongly with. A person will never grow tired talking about themselves or the things that excites them. Sometimes a question or 2 would be sufficient for the receiver to continue talking for the next 10 to 15 mins. And all that you should left to do is to listen actively, be genuinely intersted in them and what they are talking about, and pay attention and remember the smallest of details vivdly while they go babbling away. Thats the whole idea of what he was trying to put across, not just sinply asking redundant/unimportant questions.

Like next year I'm going to study uni for upgrade myself in my industry (early childhood and care). I'm part time educator so I will be study bachelor part time online course for my uni but the thing is how do you make friends in university when u are not in a campus? Due to the covid no one know what will happen next year freshman have any orientation week or anything event happen ( club, social etc). I'm not the person that social very well or going night club ect. I'm Malaysian from Melbourne 😊😊 your video really cool n chill when u had a crazy day of work. Cheer mate 😊😊

Personally, I automatically categorize any friend that recommends me the Dale Carnegie book into the "superficial and full of shit" category.
