Thanks for the video….I’m considering getting into Amazon relay …are you required to take loads every day or do you work your own schedule?
No you choose when you run unless you book a contract, good luck on your journey!
Does anyone know if you can lease on to multiple carriers? While your aging your MC? If one carrier is hard to get a hold of you can woek eirh another one?
That is a good question, I would like to know that also.
Yes you can, unless you’re signed on to that particular carrier which in most cases they’d affix their logo & company name onto your equipment, similar to what Panther does with their independent contractors. A lot of those guys only run for panther. There’s also situations where you can sign up independently & they may provide you with magnetic removable logos that you can take off when running other freight.
I’m hearing that Amazon is going to be running their own trucks soon is that so I know this rumor been around since 2018 but will that ever be possible
Amazon is already running their own trucks right now so yes that is true, I think the bigger question is how long will they continue to use independent contractors & to what capacity. Currently there are more independent contractors than DSP personnel but no one knows when & if that’ll change, it’s definitely possible though.
I do have a question for you because I love your contact and you keep it real. I’m planning to get in this box truck game within April or May of this year which is better a non-CDL truck or a CDL truck
@@frankshotta8576 I’d go with a non cdl, most loads for box trucks don’t require a cdl class truck. You’ll also have a larger selection of drivers due to your truck not requiring a cdl to operate. There are also other certifications needed for a cdl box truck such as an apportioned plate, IFTA etc.
Thank you so much for that so non-CDL. It will be my question again to you is outside of Amazon will I be able to make good money if I stay out there basically run like maybe three weeks on a week at home
Or I don’t mind I could just basically run I’m just curious because I hear so much negative about the box truck game saying that is saturated and a lot of other things I’m just trying to see is there really money to be made? Like realistically with a new MC is the best to get hooked up with a broker or run off a load board 0:01
