Great info! The few paid hunts I’ve been on I either got dropped off with a atv or utv with headlights on and talking to show you the stand. They leave and within a hour or two or more the deer are back. I’ve seen on tv hunts guys walking across open fields climb up in a blind and bam shoot a big buck. Can deer always be down wind? Do you think we should wait to put winter rye down until we have another rain? Might be 1-2 weeks
If you can time a rain that would be ideal. Early sept should be fine depending on your location.
Just Plant native grasses. Don’t waste your money.
Native grasses are great, but deer don't eat them.
