I simply don’t get all these comments moaning about Susanna „interrupting“ the home owners, thus being disrespectful towards them. The videos themselves are beautiful and Susanna and her guests feel like friends, intimately talking about art, design and architecture, a passion they all share and have in common. These are conversations we are invited in and should be thankful instead of making rude comments. Everyone who does not like the videos is welcome to watch something else.

I am not easily impressed by most designers and their curated homes but this one knocked me off my feet. A house that looks elegant and chic at the same time does not look designed to death. Totally livable and that gorgeous garden!

Ugh! Another splendid garden! My heart wept when I saw the reference library/guest room, for all those magazines I have had to dispose of over the years 'cause I could not keep them for lack of space...sigh. That was really a singular room; loved the intimacy of it. One day I'll have a home and you will HAVE to come visit me, lol!.

Jeff Gumer sadly & rudely I’m agreeing with you. It’s strange feeling but she seems try too hard to keep up with world class snobs. From most of other shows. I’m not pointing this particular one though just in general. Maybe nature of these shows carry that innuendo. However it is difficult to not to see all this presenters entitlement.
I enjoyed seeing this house but I had to watch this on mute.

Mark D. Sikes is my favorite decorator. We share a love of blue and white and so many other decorating ideas. I check out his instagram account every day and I recently bought one of his books. I am so happy we got to visit his home on Quintessence!

I also love this video and Mark D. Sikes. Seeing the way he decorated the living room the first time, drew me into his work. I took one look at that living room with the wicker chairs and Chinoiserie armoire and I was hooked!

What's not to love? An ode to detail and finishing touches, the pots of box dressing up the stairway in the garden, the blue and white porcelain accents and who wouldn't be happy to sit in that dining room pouring over books while looking out onto the garden. I've admired this home in magazines for some time and to finally see it via video is a real treat. Just curious is Mark Sikes another one who worked and honed his vast skills at Parish Hadley? His work reminds me of the talented late Mark Hampton. His attention to detail is outstanding especially with his skilled edited trims.. Bravo Mark. I will be looking for his books on Amazon..

I really enjoyed seeing this home... so very unique! Even though my personal passion is Victorian décor, I would feel very comfortable anywhere in this home ... I would have loved to see the kitchen... The garden is splendid... I will be getting a shoe-basket immediately... what a great idea!
