- We have got p1 of what is a 30 minuet video of just the munch and crunch action. I know a lot of ou guys love this stuff, and I made sure to get to all of those big massive piles!

I am excited to also say once i am exiting lockdown most of these bulk waste videos will not just be from Campbelltown, but some will also be in the local LGA's is restrictions may ease, and that I can go out. - Zábava

The photographing of oversized piles, and leaving excess behind, does that result in a charge to the resident?
In Germany we have to separate our rubbish because the bulky waste collection does not pick up cardboard boxes, household waste, building rubble, doors, wash basins, toilets and vehicle parts. Only what doesn't fit in the garbage can is taken away. Recycling is probably not your thing because everything is picked up in a trolley?
Recycling is my thing, we have recycling bins, but I am just the videographer, this isn’t rubbish I put out.
Is this in Europe You can tell by the way the truck is driving and what blame it's on

@@pokeyjourneys3984 This is Australia and yes, we drive on the left side of the road. When picking up bulk waste like this then the truck will be on the right side of the road when necessary to avoid having to turn around to pick up the piles.
Why did the truck only take half the waste put out? Is there a limit?
You Aussies do it differently to us in the UK. Our local Council does a pre-booked bulk waste collection at a cost.
This is purely for the stuff that doesn't get picked up as general non-recyclable waste, green waste, plastics, cans, glass and clothing.
Ah, thanks for the info. In my particular council you get 4 free pick ups a year.
Free doesn't exist in Europe and ex Europe UK 😂
@@glennkooijman1386free obviously does exist in Europe. In Germany it varies by area. Where I live, I can schedule it online and they pick it up for free. At my grandparents house, they even carried everything out of the entire house free of charge.

As a non-Australian, can you clarify for me why they left some at the one large pile? In Canada, if you call for a large item pickup, they take everything.
Too much can fill up the truck, you probably noticed one of the blokes were taking a photo, there is a cubic metre limit. (1-2)

@@erikdraven1731 we have sideloaders so can’t be taken with regular waste, but as Max kindly said, yea it’s their problem as they exceeded the limit, and they will have to book a further clean up which would take another 1 out of the 4 free clean ups they give in Campbelltown
One problem is that if you have an unlimited pickup volume people like commercial house renovators will exploit that and dump giant piles of trash on the street instead of ordering their own private skip, which costs them money.

Do people have to book a bulk pickup?
Great video ! Quick question though, how come heavy appliances such as fridges, washers and dryers are collected with other bulky items? Is there a separate collect for such items in order for them to get recycled or repaired?

In Europa , belgium... They come with 3 cars... Iron. Wood. Waste. Appliances, tires etc. They don't collect with trucks. Appliances will be picked up when they deliver a new one. If you don't buy a new one, you can bring it to any store and they have to take it... Matrasses the same... New one, they take the old for free... Seats and couches also..
They also do that in West Virginia. Usually when they deliver your new one, they'll take away your old one, free for the asking. They did that for the refrigerator I bought not long ago. I assume they either repair the old one or properly recycle it.
