We are heading to volunteer with Senior Chef Andrés wherever he might need us most. I am a twice shot Viêt Nam combat vet, my baby brother a long time volunteer with meals on wheels. He speaks broken French. I speak broken Spanish, Viêtnamese, and Pig Latin. So of course, look out world. Maybe you will join us brother Iron.

I think it is clear Jose should win the Nobel peace prize. What he is doing is extraordinary and represents the best of humanity with his sacrifice of time and money simply to help others. Help him out when you can because his cause is worthy

I used to love watching his PBS show years ago and how passionate he was about Spanish food and culture. It's beautiful to see him throw that same passion into this Organization.

Jose has the most beautiful eyes. Those eyes say a lot about how much he genuinely cares. I watched the documentary because my sister's friend was in the doc but it changed my life. He is incredible.

Always loved José Andrés, but have a whole new level of admiration following him day to day in Ukraine. Amazing spirit, you could see how shocked and affected he was some days after witnessing the horrors of Bucha, but he kept going and supporting the people suffering around him. 💛💙

This is what a hero looks like💗
This guy is my Hero. You need to read his book "We fed an Island" about being among the first on the ground in Puerto Rico after the devastating Hurricane. They were making sandwiches the day they arrived. He has a keen sense of logistics and dealing the what is available to keep feeding those affected by disaster. When I have money to donate, it goes to my local Food Bank and to World Central Kitchen.

Chef José Andrés continues to be an inspiration to us all to do what we can t improve our world no matter how small or big. Feeding someone may not be so large but feeding someone who couldn't otherwise gives trhem dignity and eases a burden on them.

I try to donate every month. An amazing person and able to act and mobilize resources on scale so quickly. It is magic to me, simple for Jose. Ukranians are heros and so is he.
And in addition to immediate food, WCK always enlists whatever local food suppliers and food service workers they can, so it can be a sustained effort
I have been a fan of this chef for a LONG time. We are lucky to have him in our lives.

My grandmother owned a restaurant and she lived above it. She closed her restaurant and cooked many meals for wedding parties that could not afford a wedding party. All my life when I walk through the town of Berlin New Hampshire people will run out and stop me and ask me if I'm related to Mary Grande... and then tell me their story of the free meal or party that they had on their wedding day. My grandmother pretty much lost her husband to the Second World War so she was a single parent of two children so it was not easy for her

I look at the number of views and hope this doesn't reflect the apathy of so many. Stephen's audience are usually so switched on. Feeding people anywhere is important.
And I see people in Phoenix Arizona digging for and eating food out of garbage containers at gas stations.

I remember as a kid older people who where receiving packaged food from UNRA after second WW. They never before saw powdered milk. Thought it was wheat powder for backing. Powdered eggs they called "Truman eggs (balls)". Not sure of what they where referring to?
