This game looks very good and has one of the best shooting mechanics I've evere seen. It is just a shame that the map is almost empty and the game is lacking a lot of stuff overall, hope it doesn't die too soon so they can keep updating, because it really needs massive changes.

@@DieTabbi Yep, I mean they keep adding more stuff, at least we know they are working on in, the devs are pretty transparent with that. But the updates are taking soo damn long and they are so small that I'm sure the game is going to be dead way before it reaches a full enough state.

Bro play a vanilla community server then, I made my own for that reason and have around 12 or so ppl that regularly play it
this game really dont have one of the most epic shooting mechanics, but i give you LIKE for the second part, bcs this game got so big map, but totally without any interesting and only for 50/50 pop. cap. :( its shame, thank god, my whole squad stop playin this ......
This game desperately needs an offline/solo mode so it will be playable for years to come even if it wont be finished

I found this game some time ago. Found Loaf's videos, and also yours to determine that this is a good game. Got myself the game, and also gifted to my brother. We started playing on Loaf's servers. Had a ton of fun, until both of us had some tougher weeks and our base got deleted.
But it looks like maybe it'd be nice to get back to it again.

When this game gets vehicles (land vehicles) it's gonna be a turning point for sure. Boats are going to be nice, but a dirtbike or atv will be game changing.
Cant wait! But i appreciate the fact they are taking they r time to make them good.. Dayz vehicles really suck and i dont want that in DS, if possible
@@CusterPlays they would be a lot better if the vehicles wernt server side coding wise , but having it any other way can lead to massive duping .

The story about the rabbit makes sense. My dads godfather was a commando in the Portugal colonial war and when my dad was a kid his godfather made him punch one of his rabbits in the back of the neck. Very cool to hear about this from another Portuguese person
I have a similar story, i served 4 years on the Brazillian Air Force, on our training we were assigned 2 rabbits and two chickens per platoon, we didnt had to bite the chicken's neck but we had to break it by holding the head and the bottom of the neck and then pulling and twisting, once we killed we learned how to prepare it, thank god we didnt had to drink the blood tho, the rabbit was similar as he describes in the video, hit the neck with your hand, but we also learned a different technique, taking our rifles buttstock and hitting very strongly right between the rabbit's eyes is an effective way of killing the animal without it suffering too, so thats how we did it, the thing is, this method cause both eyes to pop off, and of course i was one of the lucky ones that had to eat one of the eyes, at least they fried a little bit.
@@Mrafael52 Thank you, that’s a very interesting story. I wonder how many other countries do this since I’ve only heard about it in Portugal and Brazil. It sounds like a very good thing to learn though because you never know when you would need to know it. Maybe one day if I join I will learn this as well

Played for 2 years now. Biggest issue is the AI is impossibly accurate with any weapon. That and there’s really nothing to look at but the map is updated and added to fairly regularly.
NEVER had this issue with A.I. lol I never understood this.

11:30 No he did not have a Vest so let me explain Deadside Protection Stats so you got the Head hit box that is 1 shot without a proper helmet(I recomend a K6-3 for full face protection) the chest so basicly the chest doesn't offer protection or anything its the 2nd most vulnerable place to get shot at(1st is the head) so to dive deep into what do I mean in "it doesn't offer any protection" it means if a weapon ex: AK-mod has 40 base dmg and you don't have any Armor to negate that dmg it will take 3 hits to die but things get more interesting from here so what you saw at 11:30 was not an error or Desync or anything like that it was limb damage, Limbs(Arms and Legs) I think imo that the devs tought of killing the leg meta before it even existed so long story short limbs have 25% protection and thats why if you don't Aim Higher sometimes you might hit a Leg and will not get an instant kill(if you don't use an M99) but in your case you hit an arm so thats why he didn't get 1 shot

I really like deadside...but it is WAY more enjoyable with friends.
The problem with these kinds of games isn’t the individual game. It’s the fact that it is a smaller community that is spread thin between all the games that are similar. Between this, Day Z, Scum and I’m sure others that I don’t know about, it makes the games slowly die unless the community advertises it.

The shadowing is so impressive , the whole environment is next-step, the gun sounds and echo stuff makes the atmosphere truly immersive.
Still, walking through trees seeing the character get shadowed by foliage is so wonderfully immersive.
Redbull also had stupid suv/truck things with a giant redbull can on the back of it

My dog got a hold of a rabbit once, by the time I realized and got the rabbit away there was no saving him. I went to break it's neck, grab quick twist, whole head just comes off.
we had a bunny each..had to feed it..pet it daily..after 2 weeks.. pet it..get it nice and docile, and then pow..stick behind the ears..so the adrenaline doesnt spoil the meat.

The next update should be a turning point for Deadside. It was slated to come out a couple months ago but they ran into issues with the netcode for vehicles and ended up having to gut it and start over. From what I understand though, while progress with that has been going on, they've also been tweaking a bunch of stuff in the game that people have asked for, like updates to the AI behavior.

The body(s) disappearing bug has pretty much killed off what little hype remained for this game.

You dont need to bite at all to remove a chickens head. Grab it by the neck with one hand twist then spin the body it will come off and if you do it quick enough and put the body down it will run around still. Hence the phrase "running around like a chicken with its head cut off". So I call shenanigans on the survival training it would be easier my way rather than chewing through its neck.
Edit: but this game does look cool.

I've played this game basically since it came out. Ever since the youtubers began taking over development and talking with devs it really started downgrading. Everything that the game was advertised as stopped being worked on, realistic weapons aren't a thing anymore, and everything shifted to PvP focus. So the game isn't what it used to be, it's not really that fun anymore

That's an overly complicated way to kill chickens and rabbits. Snap neck, done. Rabbit, you can snap it's neck and skin it in one motion (for the most part). Takes about 3 secs.

Played this a while back. All I could remember was that I had everything within a week, I remember the biggest complaint for all of us was that progression was a little too easy and quick.
Yea I normally find nearest shotgun head to penis lake and up the hill then back down into bunker get decked out. Build base rinse repeat for about a week of fun. Until it's old then next year.
Is this just co-op? Or there are other online players that you can fight against?

I wish they had an easier way to mod your own server because currently thats your only option for a solo experience. Personally I just enjoy playing the game especially on high loot servers with a lot of zombies. I can play for hours and get lost in the game easily but problem is there aren't many servers you can do that.

i bought this game a while ago, then refunded it cuz there was a very low player count. Is it worth rebuying the game as of right now?
I'd sub to their discord and wait for 0.5 to release. It should be in the next month or so hopefully. It will bring in a ton of new things like hovercraft boats and a new island/missions that people haven't seen yet.
the rabbits, you have to do in a whipping motion.. never bit a chickens neck though.
I didn´t do the chicken but it was not fun to watch cuz i was afraid i was next 🤣
