Much better to have a loop at swivel end, more movement there helps the stiff material spin and have the hook dropping point down

Noticed u never moistured the not to the swivel, seen a few people do that, is it to do with the line u use, as people say it gets hot ,

What’s the difference in a whipping knot and just like a hair rig style and passing the hair back through the eye? Would it make much difference in the fishing? As I just do the hair rig style atm? 😅

I' Ve watched this video lot of times, i love It. I have a question about rig lenght. I fish Italian canals and we è used to tie 10+ inches rigs. Would a d rig like this work at that lenght?

yes for sure maybe put a bit of putty on the middle of the rid to have a turning point a bit closer to the hook, so that the hook turns quicker. i use them in a longer version when putting my rigs out by boat or in the RIVER!!

Yes I use this rig but at 10-12 inches with a slight curve in the fluorocarbon and a small sinker in the middle...it gives me incredible hook holds 👍

It’s a weird rig this one, it’s bloody awful when you test it but these guys catch loads on it!
It’s going on one rod, so it’s going to be interesting.

Why are you using it at all... he will fish a water for 3 to 4 days at a time to make this footage his no better then you are mate learn the rig mechanic's and your confidence will do the rest...iv fished for 31 years self taught on the river Wye in Wales fished the world carp master, fished the World carp classic, and all from teaching myself these guys are giving an out look and an opinion the way you use and what water is a lottery buddy. You spend hours on the bank buddy you have all the time you need rgt there good look 😉

Nope, lots of rigs haven't changed much over the years. But there are lots of anglers who are new to the sport or have never tried some of these rigs.

Nah, not complicated enough. One material, one swivel!? How is that going to hook a carp!?
