Ah the nostalgia. I remember trying to make the intro zoo in zoo tycoon 2 and the game wouldn't not allow me to make a functioning zoo with that lay out. 10 year old me felt so lied to lol
Funnily all these years later, I still do in PZ the same terraforming separation between habitats as in the ZT2 intro.

I remember trying to recreate this intro as well only for all of the animals to scale the cliffs and climb out of the moats. I've thought about getting back into ZT2 lately by building a Himalayan zoo with plateaus connected by the sky trams but my copy started constantly crashing and I could never figure out why (I know it's not mods because I uninstalled all of my mods but it kept reoccurring).
Would love to see planet zoo add some aquatic animals like zoo tycoon did. I loved making up the shows with the orca and dolphins.
