Before I judge the debate I would like to set the record...I come from Eastern Cape and I am now in the Western Cape. And in as much as I hate to say this- the WC government is doing things I have never even imagined in EC.
    - In the EC I have never seen rubish removal in the sqauter areas, I have never see toilets being cleaned in EC. You can hardly even see toilets in sqauter areas. In the WC they are cleaned almost every 2 days. City police in the EC are only available when there are politicians around- in the WC you cannot go 2KM without spotting policeman on duty. Searching and stopping cars. We can all be honest, people are running away from poverty created by the ANC in EC to seek economic freedom in WC.

We are the reason that we're still poor, cause we here in the Western Cape received the best services in the whole country, so don't let us blame the DA for a lack of service delivery. This is because the DA does not steal public money, but instead spends public money honestly and properly on maintaining and building new infrastructure for our country and on delivering better quality basic services to the people!

I’m listening to the intro and listening to ANC motivate why we must vote for them. It’s hard convincing someone born in 1994 with that stance. It doesn’t appeal to the youth because we more liberal and require tangible evidence which they have failed. And it’s for that reason why they won’t get support from the “ama 2000” era.
A discussion that’s hardly had is one where the ANC hasn’t really “created” new votes. They have always been reliant on the masses of 1994 when our mothers and grandparents voted. That class is dwindling through natural causes and old age. Imagine how many 60yr olds voted in 1994… most have passed on. 50yr olds etc…
Failing to lobby the younger generation is and will be their downfall.
