My parents forced me to be a college dropout and not return for my spring semester for my 4th year because we can't afford it any more (I would have had another 2 semester after before I graduated). A couple of things:
0:17 Whatever effect that was used for “a tasty tune” is just 👌.
1:15 The face slowly becoming more and more distraught before shaking it off is a nice touch.
1:39 The word “away” becoming more forced is nice. It’s almost like it’s showing how hard it is to keep the dread away.
Also, 1:38 he sings “overload it with major chords”, which he does. A couple bits feel intentionally off, though:

Yeah, I can really appreciate that shift. It gives the sense that he's really singing to convince himself that things aren't "that" bad, but as soon as he experiences any discomfort it snaps him back to reality.
