The point about it being a good advert for the club is the key one. On one hand it’s a great draw to getting new players in if they know if it puts them in the shop window for top clubs in the EPL. Conversely, if people see that Celtic would block players moves to big money in EPL then that will put them off us. This would be Kyogo’s last chance for the big glamour move that could set him up for life so there is no way Celtic should block that opportunity for him if City make the offer, the wee guy could get a CL winners medal and I would love that for him.

Kyogo is nearly 30 and the suitor is the richest club in the world. We should be in a position to bite their hand off and reinvest. The problem is we wouldn't have a clue what to do with the money if we got it!

20 mil for Kyogo and get shankland for 5-8 mil as he would be a good stop gap and proven in the league cos we don’t have any other strikers on the shortlist

Agree..bring Shankland in ..no disrespect to his present club but think he would get better service that would allow him to get the goals for us...and he is ready to go...knows the Scottish game..dont think it's that much of a gamble..

Jesus Christ, Shankland is far from good enough. I get some folk are panicking but to jump straight to Shankland is a bit embarrassing. Wrong age profile for a striker, he's not fit enough for this level either.

Lose arguably our two best players. Given the history of the Board, doubt they will have the ambition and forward thinking to spend a decent amount of money for some replacements with comparable ability.

If players leave and Rodgers is giving the money to bring in his own players that suit his system that's a good thing issue is they should have been in alot earlier to bed in. , I do t want to see kyogo go but he's an ange player not a Rodgers player

Kyogo changed his agent. Man City story used as cover so when Big Ange (city group) come in for him it's a player city wanted... sinical, perhaps? watch this space, [do hope that's nonsense but].

Just a thought here. Man City need to move players out. It might be an opportunity to raid their academy. Frimpong and a couple others have been great business for us.
