    Just for everyone reference:
    Banana Chocolate Chip Cookies🍪
    227g butter
    165g brown sugar
    100g white sugar
    1tsp villa extract
    2 bananas
    2 eggs
    3/4tsp baking soda
    1/2tsp salt
    272g flour
    255g oat
    128g chocolate chips
We generally use grams more than to measure in Hong Kong. So I think it will be better to have gram also.

When we visited my grandparents (we lived about 500 miles from them, and could only visit 1-2 times a year) she would always have these cookies ready for me, and a homemade lemon meringue pie! They were the best cookies! Even better then soft batch chocolate chip cookies! (I’m 59M) Man I miss them! Your video brought back a wonderful time in my childhood, and a heartache when I was a young adult when they left us.

Omgoodness! We use bananas that are almost black!
Also, can we use ALL brown sugar instead? We don't have any white sugar... and we also have only salted butter.😳 How much less salt should we use?
Thank you for this awesome recipe!

    • @SimplyHomeCooked

Yes you can use all brown sugar. I am not sure about the salted butter though. The salt ratio might be off even if you omit the salt completely.

    too sweet!
Yes I made this and followed the directions exactly.
Lower the sugar content 25 to 50% and make sure to put chocolate chips on top as she suggests.
Bananas already sweet you don't need that much sugar. Just my opinion others may feel differently.
Recipe a strike against this channel for me. Most youtube recipe channels are disappointments to me but I keep trying. It seems the best youtube recipes come from guys with culinary degrees who worked in Michelin star restaurants -- I guess they just have better palates. I've made over 500 youtube recipes easily from nearly every cuisine range, and my palate is three Michelin star food across continents down to street vendors in Thailand.

I tried to bake this cookies in my gas oven (at 350 F) ...it didnt cook at 9 minutes, so had to add extra minutes (until about 20mins) before the sides are golden brown. Its crunchy on the side but soft in the middle. Is it supposed to be soft in the middle or should I cook it a little more? Thanks. The cookies are yum.
