I love what Biggi does to hardware - and I'm in awe to what Daniel does with his mic there - but the crowd is just amazingly atrocious. Half of them just playing with their phones and fooling around. Goddamn, this is GusGus legends playing for you, baseheads.....Gig reality these days, I presume.

All right, have to agree on that. I thought exactly the same. I'm enjoying it 150 more fucking times better before my pc, than they do.
I really do think a lot of them are listening and enjoying it like we do. There's just a big difference between listening to it in quiet in front of your pc and going out to listen to them live: a lot of people are also in it for the social aspect of it (which naturally makes you fool around a bit more). But I definitely agree that there's also a lot of people way into their own heads. (:
I agree with you, but like Astridz said below, more are there just for the social aspect. A big percentage of those looking at their mobiles is because do not give a F about being Gus Gus, Moderat, or whatever, they are there just to party, and that's good but also a pity. Most of the electronic music scene audience in Spain do not really go deep into the music or the quality of it, meaning that any "beat-drum-chin based tune" are enough for them to dance, getting drunk and taking drugs. There real decent fan crowd and followers attend but probably more to clubs and venues.

BTW 75 percent of the audience is so coked up they are not even paying attention to the sonic lucidity that's pulsing the through their brains. Such a shame, as I'd travel far and wide to see their rare gigs.
