Hey Kelsey! Another great episode! I want to share a quick story with you. Me and my husband are big fans of you and Cody for a few years now! All of our friends also love you and we often watch your videos together. We live in Eastern Europe and sometimes we don’t have the American context but your videos feel very relatable regardless.
A few days ago we completed from our very first, highly anticipated trip to the US and while we were in LA, I saw Cody’s instagram story about dj-ing in a club in Venice and I screamed. I was like “omg i might actually see them live” which I think are similar emotions to the ones you felt at the AMAs before Taylor Swift arrived. I am a shy person but I immediately started developing these scenarios in my head where if i have the opportunity i will say hi and thank you for your videos and podcast as they really mean a lot. Long story short, we weren’t feeling very well that night and we missed it. I had a mini heartbreak 😅 I was very sad as we live on the other side of the globe and we missed this one opportunity to be in the same room with you guys! But! i really hope that one day you and Cody will have live tours and you will include shows in Europe as well for your international followers! So I guess we all have our Taylor Swift :)

42:09 I think also that sort of echoing Kelsey‘s point was that I think being able to find stuff in college that you’re really interested in will decrease the stress a lot about school. College is very different than high school in terms of that you can just take the classes and stuff you’re interested in. Sure you might have to take some prerequisites and other stuff but it’s a lot of what you care about the most. And in terms of finding what you like the most look at the stuff that you do in your free time. That stuff that can draw where your interests are - I know I found myself looking at a lot of animal and science content and even though I was never the absolute best at science, it’s what I’ve been doing!

So true about making friends as you get older! I’m 24 and feel like I’m so much better about knowing what kind of person I want as a friend which saves you time and drama honestly

Highly recommend the book “the Defining decade” by Meg Jay. It’s about being in ur 20s and feeling that anxiousness about like “what do I do now I’m getting older”
