But, as they slide him back to the five with the first shift of the bench, the Wolves FREQUENTLY operate through KAT and his mismatches, whether that be on the perimeter when traditional centers are guarding him or at the nail and below, particularly when his defender is of smaller stature (where teams almost always bring a double). You can question his effectiveness in such scenarios (KAT is not the most sound decision-maker when it comes to driving or passing out of doubles), but so often does Chuck depict him as someone who is unwilling to even attempt to punish mismatches, and that's just simply inaccurate.
Just a quick note: the Wolves have been putting Rudy in the slot more and more as of late, similar to how Utah has experimented with Kessler. While it's a shame that Ant still cannot maximize Rudy's presence in the dunker's spot on the weakside, this has opened up some room to cut and even perhaps the ability to post KAT up.
