I am an army and a black rose but what annoyed me the most in this interview was how she kept mentioning BTS when this interview was clearly about The Rose. Like WHYY, BTS is BTS AND THE ROSE IS THE ROSE STOP COMPARING AND BOTH ARE THEIR OWN GROUP SO RESPECT THAT. No need to bring up another group when the focus was on The Rose. I'm sure BTS have their own struggles as a group so does The Rose but that dosen't mean you can invalidate The Rose's struggles less.
RESPECT BOTH GROUPS STOP COMPARING!!
Black Roses will never forget The Rose or their music! Theyve created such a safe place for us and theyre always so genuine and real and have helped many of us in so many different ways! They will always be memorable! 🥀

There's something wrong with people who always brings BTS into topic, it wasn't necessary.
I totally agree with Woosung, it's not about "I'm wanna be a super star and everyone has to remember me" when an artist shares his/her art like they've done, it's more about I wanna share with you the essence, I want to give us the opportunity to enjoy together what we could make. That's a true artist, just like the rose as a group🌟
She was simply using BTS as an example and her question had nothing to do with them.
Why do people need to find reasons to be upset about the phrasing of a question?
@@jonok42 because there was no need to bring them up when this is clearly about them about The Rose. She could've simply asked what struggles they faced as a group whitout mentioning BTS I'm sure BTS has their own struggles and so does The Rose. But like this was clearly not about BTS so no need to bring them up, respect each group as their own individual. They're both great in their own ways I love them both. But if u invite a musician then talk about someone else, that just feels a little wrong..
Don't bring up other people's struggles just invalidate others because their struggles and hardships are just as important.

You also bring up BTS when it's not neccessary. You can just let it slide, right? The band does, too. For many people, BTS IS the first association with korean music. It is very likely, that many people who watch this interview are also interested in how BTS is gonna deal with the military and The Rose can actually contribute something for those, who are worried. The Rose already went and came back stronger, they are a good example. So why not just leave it at that?
Absolutely agree with you … I am BTS Army but this interview is all about The Rose .. instead of asking about them why bringing BTS ! I discovered The Rose when they came for lolla in Mumbai and they are really great Artist and i love their music .. song… lyrics .. voice etc and not forgetting they are beautiful human.They deserved all the respect & I genuinely respect and love for The Rose & Black Roses.

After watching this I feel bad for BTS and for The Rose.

What woosung said about remembering the music even if you forget the artist felt touching. It's what artists do : create pieces that accompany us through certain periods in our lives. Some fans stay for the long run and some come in briefly, but the impact remains forever. I also think that to some people, the artist means more than the art itself and the feelings most often linger even if one doesn't follow the group anymore. Those memories stay a source of comfort.
I’m a new black rose 🥀 I’m so glad I could support these guys, I went to see them perform in Lollapalooza this year and they were my favorite performers of this year edition. I was so so happy, I will kept those memories in my heart and I won’t forget them, like how could I???
They sing beautifully. They also speak beautifully. I love them.

There was something off about this interview. Maybe because the presenter spoke more than the Rose! In any case I would love if both Hajoon and Jaehyeong would speak. I understand there is language barrier but they can speak in Korean and the other two can translate a bit for them. I have seen other interviews of them in English also, where they just don't talk. But they have beautiful personalities and so much to share. I feel bad for them. There are many other Korean bands, artists who do not speak English and they answer in Korean and someone (members or an interpretor) translates. I wish they can express themselves more. Love The Rose, they are my absolute favourite.
The interviewer was more keen to listen to herself than to what The Rose had to say. It would have been more graceful to ask one open questions and have them share whatever comes to them.

It's like they are a part of me,
They confort me when I needed the most, and bring so much reconfort through music. Even if I know that Woosung kinda feel inconfortable about the fact that we thanks the band for making such music., He always reference this to music not as the band but a thing that he might have forget it's that behind every songs they are humain being whose writing and expressed they own and relative's feelings . So yeah I thank you for the music that you made guys I thank you for having created a safe place for me through your music but also your personality.
I will not forget you because you printed yourself in my history and in my heart.

La verdad es que se volvieron una parte muy importante de mí, tanto como persona, como en mi camino musical. Me ayudaron a entender y ver las cosas de una forma diferente, a sanar junto a su música y sentir lo mágica que se puede volver. Estoy segura que jamás me voy a olvidar de ustedes y mucho menos de su música, los guardo en mi corazón para el resto de mi vida ❤️

I was quite enjoying the interview until this first moment, so I'll try to say it nicely
4:27 'this issue has gotten a huge spotlight of the last of couple of weeks because another korean group of artist B T S have announced they will be serving in the military' No ma'am. This particular issue has always been in a spotlight as every korean man is obliged to perform military service. Either it's a common person, a celebrity, actor, kpop artist, professional sportsman and it has always been a bitter situation because there are always people who cherish for them who have to go to military. Mentioning this other artist was only unnecessary and disrespectful towards The Rose.
5:40 'were you ever at any point worried that the black roses would forget about the rose (...) I'm thinking about army you know will army remember B T S I mean yes obviously' . Woosung's reaction says it all. Why even imply such a thing? It was so unpleasant and harmful to hear especially after comparing to other fandom. I am Black Rose. Will I forget them or they music? Even if I'll get old enough to forget my own name I will remember The Rose because it's something remembered by my heart.
Please be careful and more considerate in the future if you ever will get the opportunity to interview korean artists.

You could of absolutely of asked those questions without bringing BTS into it...why do these interviewers always bring them up when interviewing other Korean artists..the comment about army obviously not forgetting BTS was also kind of rude assuming that army are the only fans who won't forget the artists while they are away.. seriously something wrong with western interviewer's

5:54 that was pretty unnecessary, I’m sorry. “Of course army won’t forget bts but maybe your fans would forget about you” - that’s how that came across. They’re not less valuable as artists just because they’re not someone else. Bts aren’t the Beatles either, yet they hold their own, and so does The Rose. I understand the intent of the question, just wish it was done more respectfully to the people being interviewed.

i love them explaining the meaning of their fans, Black Rose, i thought thats what it referred to but its nice to remind people as in Western culture, a Black Rose can be a negative symbal.

Come on. So you guys want to create content to us that we’ll like, and then making us keep coming back to watch your content right? Well… what about then not disrespecting and comparing one group to another group? Even if not comparing then mentioning another group. You interview The Rose, then only talk about The Rose. It’s pretty simple. The bond between artists and fans are often really really close and filled with a lot of meaningful messages. When you speak with a group you should never begin talking about another artist. You’re simply giving of the intention of saying that one group is not meaningful enough, doesn’t matter and have less value just because another group of people in this whole world got more fame. It’s very unprofessional of your interviewer and as you might see here in the comment section, definitely didn’t make us, both as fans and viewers, very happy. Cause I can see I’m clearly not the only one here finding this uncomfortable. It would be nice if you didn’t do this to other people in the future too. Please get an interviewer that’s professional or tell them how to.
I don’t know if it’s just me, but I feel like The Rose look a little shocked too. They’re ofc trying not to show it, as they’re very humble and kind humans. I’m so proud of them handling the situation so well as they always do. Also how funny is it that when the topic is changed to snacks and not about BTS they’re are less tense and smile more?
No hate to BTS at all. It would just be pretty nice to not mention other people when ‘professionally’ interviewing one group of people. Remember they’re humans too, and it hurts to be compared all the time feeling like you’re not good enough, have to constantly live up to expectations of other people, having less value. It’s invalidating them. They’re each individual groups. Please be considerate of people and show respect. The interviewer is adult and I know all this as a 16 year old fyi. (And a little tip is if you want viewers back then maybe think about giving a small apology)
The interviewer can talk about BTS in her free time when not being at work 🙃

It would be rude if she were actually comparing the two groups.
However, that is not at all what she did. She used BTS as an example to explain herself. Not to compare them to each other.

i dislike when interviewers always bring up BTS, like im pretty sure every korean artist know about BTS achievements. This interview is ABOUT the rose, its very unnecessary to mention BTS, and obv no hate to BTS but i dont think its right to mention them.
Why is she bringing up BTS while doing an interview with another group? The first time she mentioned them it was okay, used as an example since they are globally known, but mentioning them again and comparing? It was so unprofessional and uncomfortable, even for us watching. You can see it all on Woosung's face.

i thought the questions and comments were very thoughtful and insightful, and then bts was brought up in a way it felt this interview served a purpose for *their* enlistment and not for the rose really. nothing against bts, it's just a shame the interview didn't really respect the artist in front of them as they should have.
