One of the best shows the BBC produced
I mean how could you be offended by someone who just shows that some people are ignorant, and I bet so many people have met someone ignorant or rude. They just exaggerate at times and make it into brilliant comedy. Sad that people get offended, since even the actors get it.
Yes, see, the thing is : Ignorant, insecure people with no life see themselfs in these skits and get offended right away, taking it as a personal attack against them. Then they cry PC and such and that's why we can't have funny things anymore.

It was the best, funniest comedy show ever on British TV. It only didn’t become a classic because it ended after one season, and then has been stymied by the PC Brigade. Wish they would do another but feel it would be so watered down it wouldn’t be the same.

It's a gag often missed but Jackie Trent wrote the theme to Neighbours.
Simon is so much to put up with, his loving doting wife is his co pilot, and shes just checking that hes not screwing in the toilet like he did that one and only time, possibly.

This show was comedy gold. They make fun of everyone Wich is what comedy is all about. But no one can take an offensive joke anymore And it's sad. That's what makes comedy comedy

Bit hit and miss really
All the people in chat saying 'if only the woke's hadn't ruined everything.' This show literally isn't un-PC or offensive in anyway. And in fact the character of Ian foot is poking fun at the 'I'm not racist but...' types, and the Ferghal storyline is poking fun at homophobia.
Matt Lucas is gay and a secular Jew, I bet if he got famous today the 'everything I don't like is woke' brigade would be up in arms about an openly gay, ethnic minority daring to be on their telly's...

Youre spot on actually. The thing is that these characters are not glorified for their behaviour. They are casted as vile or stupid and mocked by us.
But the woke agenda isn't amenable to it at all. They take a reductionist view with buzzwords and shoeboxing
you do not actually have to do something offensive and you do not have to offend anyone in order to get the fascist narcissistic fakewoke PC cancel brigade lose their sh*t! Literally NOT even ONE of the gays i know. e.g was "offended" in any way by the Daffyd jokes, they LOVED them, and lots of back caribbean women LOVED the Precious character and said it was on point. and this goes for all the other figures of the show as well.
I hate to say it, but little Britain today would be all about the polish and Islamists.
