its crazy how the boys on this show were praised for the bare minimum....no one talked about how quickly the girls were respectful of their partnerships compared to ths dudes
the annoying part is that marvin was an asshole throughout the show and in the end he just turned into a good guy and decided he was in love with melinda. And in the end he won the award and dismissed melinda, while Cam (who really deserved it) didn't win. I'm glad Cam and Emilly are still together, proving it wasn't about the money, unlike other people.
I actually think Mel and Marvin are too similar they both used people for affection just to make the person they really wanted jealous. I don’t think they would ever work in the real World.

Marvin is a bad person. Truly. It was so obvious throughout the show that he didn’t give a shit about her whatsoever. He saw the trip was coming to an end and knew he had to turn it around to make money. He’s a good actor. It was all a scheme and I felt it was SO obvious. You could see the pain and confusion on Cam’s face as he was struggling with his feelings and trying to change. Truly unfortunate that Marvin won.

I’m not sure if the flirtation and kiss with Mitchell on The Circle led to anything more, but they both seemed like really sweet and authentic people and I hope it did. If not, she deserves the best. Netflix should just give her a talk show of her own or some kind of show. I would watch her on anything, lol. She’s so positive and you can’t help but smile when you watch her. I was rooting for her on The Circle, but I loved DeLeesa/“Trevor” too. Their friendship on The Circle was really sweet 😊

Chloe always seemed genuine, no matter what, but I still really liked Melinda by the end of the season. I’m sad Elle didn’t get a lot of time on the show because she seemed like a sweet person and I think if she had been there from the start that she would have found someone or connected well with one of the guys.

I don't understand why everyone only considers Marvin and Cam for the prize. I know they were in the final 3 but still - Emily and Melinda deserved to win way more. They were focused on one person from the beginning and they came to the show with the same baggage - they weren't afraid to open and to commit. While Marvin and Cam were tempted by other girls all the time...
Marvin is the worst. He woke up one day and realized he needed to look like he had personal growth and he pretended to change and love Melinda to win, so he did. He treated Melinda like garbage and was SUCH a hypocrite not wanting her to talk to anyone else but then constantly eyeing his options. I hope Melinda has learned that she deserves so much better than him, because she does. I’m upset that he won, it should’ve been Cam who actually did change at his core even though you could tell how hard it was for him AND he and Emily are still together which is too sweet.

I would have been much happier with Cam winning. He was self aware and didnt have a victim complex. He recognized his faults and realized he has to change eventually. Where were the deep talks, she told him she misses him and he freaks, stays in the bathroom like 5 mins before walking away. Carley and chase weren’t compatible either. There was not one couple who wasn’t toxic. These ppl weren’t brought in because they were emotionally intelligent.

So the first season, it was Rhonda and Sharron, they had a little list at first but Sharron was playing with her emotions off rip and she still went for him and dealt with his bs, all while she had a man who was all about her ready to treat her right (David)… now this season you have Melinda and Marvin, little lust, back and forth nonsense, and Melinda was still putting him first while Peter was willing and wanting to give her attention. I’m just gonna say it, black women are once again being playing with by black men, and sorry girls but these men showed you their their true colors up front but y’all didn’t see the red flags and were shitted on. We need to throw men like that away and not be “head over heels” in love with them, it’s the image we are attracted to. Let”s face it: tall, dark, muscular, nice smile… it’s all an image we gravitate towards because this is the person we envision by our side as our partner. Chloe always seemed genuine, no matter what, but I still really liked Melinda by the end of the season.
