Ben Foster Goes OFF On VAR & Sky After Liverpool No Goal

- Ben Foster from @thecyclinggk loses it after VAR make another error. This time incorrectly ruling Luis Diaz goal for Liverpool against Tottenham offside after the Video assistant referee thought the on field call was goal. The disallowed goal would have made it 1-0 for Liverpool. They went on to lose 2-1. #shorts #football #soccer #premierleague

Fair play Ben Foster, spot on calling them out like that. Always found it very suspicious myself, their punditry is way too lenient on these things.
Wdym every pundit has said literally what he has said
Everyone in the world said what he said except sky sports and VAR
By "their punditry" here he means the shy sports during the game.
Try to understand for f sake.

@@TPRM1 Nah man. Good refs quit because they know too much, and don't want to be involved. Its gone on for too long for to be called incompetence. Its the cover ups that are the clue here, not just some missed offside, or a bad call.

In Sweden the Swedish host talked about for like 10 minutes 😂
But the VAR people apologised. That should be enough to justify this crap right? Its shocking to think that players gets fined and dusciplined but the refs go free. They should fined their wages for a howler like this.
They don't apologise they just explain the mistake
That would be a reasonable idea if players didn't make in a week, what a ref would make in a year.
Refs also get "promoted"/"demoted" on a game by game basis.
Imo the biggest issue is that the PL only allows English refs to officiate PL matches. The best leagues should have the best referees.
The PL also has enough money to help develop local refereeing but they chose not to invest in it more.
get them fired asap, the entire integrity of VAR in England is at stake.
Didn't a team get relegated for a cock up like this a few years back? We're talking about potential millions in earnings for clubs, managers losing jobs..
Refs should be fined really hard or even get their licenses revoked
well that's straight talking, surprised and impressed
Big 5 Leagues should introduce the semi automatic offside technology they had in the World Cup ASAP.
But they won't be able to fix certain matches if they bring that in var isn't difficult to get right they get it right when they want to and get it wrong when they want to
It didn't work properly because of the playable part rule. With current AI, i bet you could teach it to be 99% right within 2 yrs + have a response in a second. But honestly it would kill football imo, the old refereeing added way more emotion. This is semi-assisted and its awful to the flow of the game, I can't imagine a full auto system flagging everything. It would be good for defence, bad for attack.
They should let the game be reffed normally, like it was when it was exciting.
Maybe I don't watch enough football but this only seems to happen with VAR in England
Absolutely. The reasons are many, but it's mainly down to incorrect implementation and poor refereeing standards. The written rules are also an issue. I've sent multiple rules revisions and drafts to the PGMOL, as well as applying for a position to re-write the rules. Of course, it all gets ignored.
Yup clearly CORRUPTION or E officials are stupid clowns. Obviously OBVIOUS
Well sports betting markets are the biggest in EPL, so there's more money to be made. I'm sure it happens in UCL too tho. Last year they even got caught fixing the draw for the knock outs. As usual nothing happened as a result, even when everyone with half a brain cell understood what had just happened.
FIFA is corrupt, UEFA is corrupt and so many leagues are corrupt, they cant say anything when UEFA or FIFA fixes the next games to be played in the desert.
A quick Google search will tell you that this sort of thing happens everywhere, not just the Premier League.
The reason it seems to you that it only happens in England is because you only watch English football, and I don't blame you because let's be honest 😂 La Liga and Serie A are boring 😴

Crazy that wolves had the exact same thing happen in the FA Cup against liverpool and there was no outrage from neutrals, no asking for compensation and no asking for the game to be replayed. Hard to feel sorry for the big 6 when they have every decision go their way
A liar is court by what he utters out his mouth. So I will ask you was the decision that was made against wolves the same as the Diaz situation?

If you listen to the audio from the VAR room, they actually correctly called the play onside. The issue was in their communication, they thought the onfield referee had given the goal, it wasn't until the play had restarted that the video-editing guy noticed and informed them.
Well why the fuck are they derping around in the video room without a line direct to the ref to discuss the decision details? Surely both parties should talk about what's going on?
cut their wages for howlers just like this
VAR people need investigating for betting regulations because they made way too many mistakes in that game and all to make sure liverpool lost, somthing just isn't right.
VAR was brought in to rig games, when you understand that fact, it all makes sense. They want to make sure the right teams get enough points for the billionaires to get the right returns on their investments. VAR is one of their primary vehicles to achieve that goal.
How does VAR make rigging games easier than not having it? 😂 you've to literally now bribe more people than before if you want to rig a game
@@magikarpsplashy you could argue more people being involved in decision means greater chances of corruption. Ref could be completely unaware whilst VAR is "forgetting to do their job"

The thing about the Diaz goal that sets it apart is that it wasn't a subjective refereeing error but a miscommunication. It highlights the astonishing situation that VAR's seemingly been operating all these years without simple speech protocols - if they'd run their system past any semi-competent analyst they'd have been set right at the start.
Tru. It happened all the times, especially in favour of big teams. They never show replays for certain teams. Real Madrid, ManU, etc have benefited from that over the years.

Since start of the VAR I immidiately thought that is now easier to matchfix. No one got like the original copy of any game and sometimes a slowmo or replay takes so much time, so you can edit anything to the replay.
TV channels did the same when chelsea were robbed in the fa cup final against arsenal
Also Onana against wolves ... absolutely clatters the player misses the ball completely
