I agree with your point on Joyce and I would have loved to see more of the El/Joyce relationship because I think Joyce is a great mother figure for El, you can see how happy they both are when they reunite at the end of the season. In this moment, I can only explain Joyce's missing engagement in El's outbreak beacuse there is so much on her mind, regarding finally having a sign of life from Hopper and I think that makes it impossible for her to focus on anything else. mike is hella mid he was happy when el stood up to his bully but when she stood up to Angela(her bully) he has a problem like wtf
how Mike treated Eleven at Rinkomania and during this dinner scene disappointed me a lot. The way he stood apart from her at the skating rink while she was shell-shocked, and him blaming her at the dinner table, really disappointed me a lot. it made me reflect on how i've been treating my significant other, my Eleven. This is a kind of betrayal and rejection that cuts deep, and will take a long time to heal. Mike could've supported her better. He is the person that she has entrusted herself to. Mike has to realize the significance of this and act accordingly. Have her back at all times in public. Have the difficult discussions in private.
I love drunk jonathan 😂😂
