This guy right here is awesome. Had Best Buy install my audio system, and it blew twice. I so happen to see BJ at his shop. He was nice enough to fix the issue on the spot and less than 5 minutes...smdh. I will be coming for him. Much respect for a talented young. 😊
Omg Thank you! Going to buy a fuse now! I just bought this same car and have been baffled by having no sound. Bluetooth connects, nav shows, cd seems to be playing but no sound. Bless you cuz I’m blessed to find this video. 🥰
Honesty and excellent work. Gotta respect and trust a man these days that solve your issues for 5 bucks instead of telling you a much higher price like some dishonest people do these days. This is why u should bring your needed work here to Bj from the 478 @OCD AUDIO
Been having this issue forever B J is it possible that I need the change my other amp fuses also , how many are actually equipped with my car 2015 Lexus 460 . I’ve heard my amp was good the wires were good . One time my infotainment would work sometimes but sometimes not now it’s not at all . They tryna get me to pay 2300 to fix my radio of course if we find out that’s the issue but it’s driven me crazy please help any kind of feedback back would help I’m up here in Baltimore city !!! Nardo !!
Currently experiencing this right now. Thank you for up loading this bro helps a lot. Got a question, before I remove the fuse do I need to disconnect the battery or anything before removing the fuse or re installing it with new one?
@@bj_from_the478 aye bro I pulled the fuse out it was good. I tested it & the light came on that shows the fuse was good. You think it’s most likely the amplifier in the trunk? Sucks bro was really hoping it was the fuse
What if the audio plays fine but i have no bass at all. None of the bass speakers nor rear sub work just top door speakers and dash speakers. I do know that my rear deck sub is blown vua Lexus diagnostic and occasionally the bass will work for a second as if there is a short. But its driving me crazy.
So my navigation Works my voice assistant works the preceptor blank I can't adjust the sound although no sound comes out of the speakers there is power to the amp I just cannot get it to do anything with the radio it says audio not available in this mode when I try to use the voice-activated assistant ive checked fuses... reset by unhooking batteru etc....
I just replaced the amp with an EBAY after market. Bought one around $500(thought it was worth it). When I put in a Lexus 30 amp fuse($15) it blew right away. What's up with that?
We checked and there is power going to the amplifier plugs. I replaced the amplifier but still no sound or volume level on the screen. What does the 30amp fuse you changed control? I'm trying to figure out its equivalent fuse in a 2006 GS 300. Thanks.
Did you figure out your issues? I changed amp twice (bought from ebay) but still no audio. That tells me something else is wrong on my 2007 RX350. I checked all the fuse (except the one on under glove compartment). Not sure if RX350 has one there.
I am experiencing the same problem but i am not getting 12v at the black wires in the amp plug in the trunk, i did tested the 30a fuse in the passenger side and it has constant 12v and i did the test with two 30a fuse and they do have 12v. What do you think? Cables and plugs are new no damage at all
I replaced that fuse a couple of times, and it keeps arcing as I put it in, and blowing it again. Does thus mean I have a bad or shorted amp ??? All plugs & plug wire going into the amp are in great visual condition....In addition, after putting a new fuse in, I do get 12 volts on both black wires, however, when I plug in the amp & start the car, the fuse blows.
I'm checking this fuse now. My speakers just now suddenly stopped working. What's a good fix for the rear sub on our cars that always go out? They sound bad.
If that fuse blew time you plugged it in look in the truck and unplug your factory amplifier then try replacing the fuse with the amp unplugged if it doesn’t blow it’s your amplifier
@bj_from_the478 Well I finally unplugged the amp and installed a new fuse. It didn't blow and the connector had power. Now where do I send this thing for repair?
My problem is a lil more complex if i can say. My surround sound speakers work perfect. My door speakers and factory sub doesnt work and i believe they dont get any signal. Do you believe that sound like an amp issue?
I got the same exact problem with my ML system took it the the local Lexus stealer ship for diagnostic and they told me the rear subwoofer was blown and needed replacement. Not sure why the subwoofer would cause all the door speakers on bottom of door not to work but too small speakers do work fine…
@bikerboy2k142 Really? The subwoofer? I never thought to check into that. Ill look into that too. I know things on this car is completely sensitive to the point that one thing will trigger the next thing even thought it has nothing to do with it lol.
Commenting to come back in case someone solves this issue. Just recently purchased an LS460L and have this issue. Front speakers work as well as sub, my rear door speakers fade in and out.
Okay go into your audio settings and make sure it’s not in surround sound mode if it isn’t I’d do a factory reset on the radio last butt not least go too the factory amplifier and unplug all the plugs and put them back in and make sure the click let me know if that helped 👍🏿
@ 0:30 It looks like you're trying to cast a spell to fix the audio... "SOUNDUS REBOUNDUS!" ....anyway thanks for the great video on how to fix this when it gets botched up - 4 (FOUR) fuses? Tis madness!

You don’t necessarily have too remove the battery cables butt if you like too it wouldn’t hurt 👍🏿

The amplifier is bad

I'm checking this fuse now. My speakers just now suddenly stopped working. What's a good fix for the rear sub on our cars that always go out? They sound bad.
I’d look online and find a factory replacement sub
@bj_from_the478 I just replaced that fuse and it popped right away. I didn't even have the car on. Looks like I'll have to pull up a writing diagram.

Okay it’s a starting point what types of issues are you having ?
idk if its my fuse or my amp.but i have no sound but everthing else works on my 2007 lexus ls460l im going to 2years trying to figure it out..
Okay if it not the fuse you’re going too have too make sure it has power at the amplifier
im getting no sound but all controls work maybe its the radio itself?
Okay it will power up and you won’t have sound if it’s not the fuse then you may need too invest in a new amplifier

Underneath the steering wheel, you will find your fuse box. Also, the Amp is located in the trunk.
