As a guy dating a bisexual girl, it just comes down to having trust in the relationship. 8:45 To answer Rob's question, I identified as bisexual in high school. Psychologically/sociologically, here's how I got there:
I didn't grow up with a dad because my parents divorced at a young age. As a kid, I had a lot of bad experiences with boys and men. From an early age, I did not see "God-fearing" men, I grew up observing men that were not living in the way God created them to live; Most of the men in my life were NOT protective and providers, they did not make me feel safe or secure because they left me and took advantage of my femininity. So, as a teenager, I grew up being more masculine to protect myself, and because I equated my feminine traits-- softness, gentleness, etc-- with weakness.
When I was in high school, I started seeing these LGBT stuff online, and observed that "bi" os "lesbian" women were sometimes more masculine. My masculinity + my fear/hate towards men made me think that I was bi. I was also scared to be intimate with people, so I also identified as asexual.
I identified as this until I became a Conservative 5 years ago. I no longer have bi/ace feelings because 1) I see how the LGBT movement took advantage of my fears and abuse. It's sickening to think about. 2) I know that is not how God created me to be. My bi/ace identity was driven by fear, but God says that perfect love casts out fear because fear has torment. I am a new creation in Christ 💛
From what I am understanding, It seems like for you viewed sexuality as a form of presentation/self expression. Since in this whole paragraph, you never truly expressed what you are attracted to. At the end of the day sexuality just explains the gender you have sexual feelings for. A person being a lesbian or bi shouldn't explain their "masculinity" or "feminity". These assumptions are mistakes too many of us make. So many people won't believe a woman is lesbian because she's feminine or won't believe a man is straight because he acts more feminine. I think that you saying the LGBT movement took advantage of your fears and abuse is wrong. You were just confused and used the LGBT stuff to make sense of yourself. It's definitely not the LGBT community that pushes the narrative that "if you act more masculine you are definitely bi or lesbian". If anything that comes more from outside the community. That's not the LGBT mouvement's fault. It seems like in your life you went through an identity crisis, not a sexual one. I'm happy though that in the end you finally found and understood yourself.

yes, we are still bisexual because of the attraction part, this doesn't really change. we just either chose to settle down with a man or with a woman while someone who is gay or a lesbian was never attracted to (for the most part), the opposite sex.
People treat bisexuality like its an exclusive descriptor. Your bisexuality doesn't cease to exist if you're in a heterosexual or homosexual relationship.

Humans still feel attraction whether or not they’re in a relationship. I am 100% attracted to my wife, but that doesn’t make me not straight anymore. It’s really not that hard of a concept, bisexuals are still going to be bisexual whether they’re currently in a gay relationship or a straight one.
Is this audience like 4? If you’re attracted to both genders than you are bisexual. Dating one gender doesn’t eliminate the fact that you are bisexual. It’s a really simple concept.
