      Timbo437 thank you so much! If you have any suggestions for videos let me know! I will cover freehand and fixed angle sharpening, knife reviews/unboxing, sharpening stones and if you guys want something specific I will try my best to do it ASAP. As long as I have the capability to do the video I’ll do it. Thanks again! -Mike

      paddys potato peelers thank you! Yes this video is more for the traditional Japanese kitchen knife owner. There are only a few of these videos on CZcams so I thought I would try to help by adding one more. Thanks again for watching! -Mike

    Where did you get the finger stones from and what bench stones were those?

    How hard are you pressing throughout it on the first part?

    • @Iheartknives1
      @Iheartknives1  Před 3 lety +1

      Not a lot of pressure usually. The stones will give you feedback and you’ll feel them grab if they go dry or you press too hard. You shouldn’t have to press too hard to get a good finish though. Maybe as much or a little more than taking a pulse. It’s hard to put it into words but you’ll get a feel for it when you do it.
