Im not a Greatful Dead fan but I can appreciate opening an awesome box set of a band/artist that I love.
Mine showed up yesterday after 4 agonizing months! My order still said processing so I was not expecting it....quite the relief! Haha. Cheers man!

I’ve been watching your videos a lot cos I just entered the world of vinyl collecting! I’m mostly getting my fave artists and bands and I so freakin love it. But the reason I posted this is, I got curious cos you’re showing Grateful Dead a lot. I gave it a listen and damn a love how they sound. 👍🏻
I'm glad I can now go back and watch this video from the vantage point of having one in my very own possession (finally got mine last week). I can't tell you who many times I've chickened out over buying this the last year and a half. As a HUGE Grateful Dead fan I knew that having it was a must, and it would vindicate having missed the chance to get some of their other stuff at a decent price. I have made some mega music purchases over the past year that where a tad shy of $500. However, when I got this it immediately blew my mid in it's sheer size and scope. It's easily worth twice the amount I paid for it. It's the Holiest of Holy Grails for me!

Wow- that is one big box set ( in my eyes). I only have an old Europe 72 album and the debut with the skeleton on it. Might be scared to play a box set like that. Credit to you for doing so.

I saw someone on the dead site complaining about skipping. I bought two Beatles Mono sest that BOTH skipped so I am reluctant to buy high dollar sets.
Package is beautiful, and well protected very,very nice and I like your enthusiasm, I bought a package from rhino it was the complete Woodstock recordings, 36 cds, posters a book in a wooden box and the handle was a guitar strap, every song, (sans3) every announcement EVERYTHING and I love it I forgot what it cost but I didn’t care only 1969 made, so I get your drift congratulations man😎🎙✌️
Wow , what a coincidence. At work ( approximately 6 hours ago) I had my Grateful Dead playlist going, thinking about a deadhead friend who collected a massive amount of Dead shows on cassettes. I actually thought of you wondering if you're a fan and I come home to this, lol. Out of all the bands out there....
Anyway, it's a gorgeous box set. I don't know that I can afford it but I'm seriously considering it.

Yeah so, I live on a limited income so stuff like that......... It's like, I could never have bought the Europe 72 CD suitcase 10 years ago. But you're right, these recent vinyl archives sound really good. I have the three Fillmore 69 sets that are out on vinyl. I'm just saving a bit for the Wembley 72 set this autumn.

I would be kind of too nervous to buy such a huge box set because I figure there would be some quality control issues. That could be me just being negative but I just don't trust modern vinyl manufacturing for expensive purchases.
I was enjoying my vintage copy of Europe 72 and by the end of the 3 discs I figured I had enough dead for one night haha.

Hi I was watching you just a minute ago. I decided to message you . I have some vinyl records like History of Eric Clapton,Clapton’s , Best of cream,, quick silver , Golden Butter. I like to know how much they are worth and where can I sell it.
Are all the center holes too large on your set too? When placed on the spindle each record has quite a bit of room to move around. The ill effects should be lessened by a center weight, but it is an issue that runs through the entirety of my (otherwise impeccable) set.

Bitching about it on a public thread is not going to change anything… How often do you see rare old music/box sets in a record store being sold at original retail? Never… It’s just the way it is… and if someone/retail store wants buy something and keep it for the next generation to buy brand new and make some money to keep their business running and to feed their families SO BE IT. I know I have personally enjoyed opening up sealed stuff from the 80’s-early 2000’s. Did I have to pay up the ass for it? You bet! I think the “plague” you are talking about is the scalpers who buy up as much of the stock as possible and flip it. I’m talking about buying ONE more copy…Eventually people will pay a bunch of money for a brand new set of this. It’s basic economics… and if you’re that concerned about it you’re going after the wrong person. Go bitch at the record companies that release “limited edition’s”. Why not make enough for everyone? Boo hoo… and while you’re at it drop that price so everyone can afford it… not gonna happen! Good ol’ CAPITALISM! I’m not rich or a scalper, just a music lover looking for ways to make easy money just like the next guy. This set is going to sell for $1,000- who knows how hi…? It would be stupid not to buy two if you have the money. I am only questioning it because it’s a long term investment and the music fund is kinda low at the moment after buying ONE already. @@noblerecords You could have saved yourself some money and brought the Steamer Trunk when it was available and gained all 22 shows from the tour,or brought the actual shows you wanted from Deadnet they were available for some years after the rapid sell out of the Steamer Trunk,I would like to know if there is any upgrade in sound quality, also if there are any different passages or photographs in the accompanying book that have been amended,the sticker was previously inside the trunk.

Dumb question - are you personally interested in ANY CDs or SACDs, and box sets and special editions of the same? I saw The Dead December 1968 at a local college. I was unaware of the "treats" they were giving to older audience members.
