If the game was an anime, I can imagine the final duel with Rusty spanning the entirety of Xylem, or at least one of the 'arms', their supercharged ACs tearing through the city, flying between the buildings to evade each others' attacks.
Honestly I saw their relationship in this route as a sort of rivalry and rather than sadness it's more like feeling proud for both raven and rusty fighting for their beliefs. In the next route when he gets offscreened and then Walt dies now that's just sad
Since Rusty is the true main character, he's just going to reload from his last checkpoint until he beats you. Don't worry, the good guy will win in the end.
That is why we win.... though the Corpos putting the vascular plant made our actions necessary... had Arquebus not put the vascular plant in orbit we could have just taken to aiding Rusty in mercing everyone after it and keeping it firmly set on Rubicon.... Snail is the true big bad... besides ALLWIFE...
If I had a dollar for every banger video on CZcams that puts “It has to be this way” over footage of a boss fight from a game involving high-speed, high altitude combat against a former friend who calls you “buddy” I’d have two dollars
Honestly, I'd say It Has To Be This Way would be better fitting for the Carla/Chatty fight. Because you really are perfectly reflecting them in that fight, fighting for the sake of your friends and for what you think is right, the exact same reason that Carla's so determined to see OVERSEER's goal to the end.
I think "the only thing i know for real" suits better for rusty. Because rusty the only person who's treat you as a buddy and friend when the others treat you as a war weapon, but "it has to be this way" still good though
Update I Lied more videos are in the works but those might be my last ones because I feel like I am overdoing these videos and I think they might drop in quality if keep pumping them out. Gonna be the last of these videos for now haven't had any new ideas for which fights to add the Metal Gear Rising songs to, but I will make more in the future if DLC is made for this game and still waiting on Elden Ring DLC, It might have some boss fights that will fit those songs maybe?? I'd argue that there's no "happy" in the first and second ending of Armored Core 6. In the Fire of Raven, you have to kill your friends (Rusty and Ayre). In the Liberator of Rubicon, you have to kill your mentors (Carla and Walter).

It fits really well with the rapid flight above Rubicon's soon to be scorched skies. As for Rusty? Unlike the TOTIKFR fight, this is RUSTY'S song. Rusty talks constantly about how 621 is power without purpose - but in this fight, he realizes that, in spite of 621 being an enemy and opposing force, whatever happened to them GAVE THEM a purpose. Whether it's Walter's legacy, Walter's order, or the pain of betraying Ayre, 621 has a REASON to fight Rusty now. But Rusty knows that he simply can't give up. Even if his buddy can fly now, he has to fly higher, for the sake of Rubicon. And yet, when he's beaten, he admits defeat - just before he dies, soaring above Rubicon, he admits that 621 has flown. That they will create a *new* future, one way or another.
Anyone else do this, Pilepunk a staggered Rusty, his hp goes to zero and then he returns to full health hitting harder and his thrusters having gone red like Coral was in use? Because I started using 621 modified to match the Raven mech from Illegal Entry and would 75% delete Rusty's health three times, each time reducing ORTUS to 0 and the final one was the one that stuck...
if you want I can Re-do the video without shotguns if the way I play really upsets you dude. I don't really see the problem with using them I needed to get the fight just right and using shotguns was the most reliable to get it just right.
sounds like someone's salty about pvp, but just to remind you... this game was designed by fromsoft as a singleplayer focused title. let people enjoy the game how they want in singleplayer

When you read the lyrics of the song, you can tell the song suits this two and the moment.
This mission went from making you feel like an unstoppable badass, to kicking you in the feels, and your choice of songs does it justice.
