Just discovering this- Aerial Yoga- in 2021 :o. I'm approaching 50 and everything is getting 'less bendy', and I Really Really like hanging, hanging upside down and swinging on things :) Thank you so much for the instructions- The Best !! Also, thank you for the comprehensive safety instructions one how to hang in your ceiling at home, as that is what I will be doing. oh, you had me hooked right off when you used the Hot Pink Silk !!

How strong do the iron beams need to be to unstall a hamoch on it.
I want to install a beam for silks.
Oh about that you need to ask specialist like engineer :) Also, the beams might be also wood, not particularly metal.

What kind of lighting do you like to have if there isn't enough daylight?
When I teach a class, I usually use dim light ☺️
My ceiling is very low at 94inches/2.36 metres...can I hang a hammock? Fingers crossed!
Well you can, but you probably won’t be able to stand on the silk (on the loop) as you will be touching the ceiling, but most of the aerial yoga poses are avalable, but low ceiling will limit tricks, so depends what your practice is focused on :)

Does this info apply to rigging aerial hoops? I was considering setting up a home-rig, but I haven't found any videos on it.
Sorry, I can't say anything about the hoops as I don't practice with them.
