- As usual, the aim is to give a flavour of the evening rather than recording every selector and every selection.
First Thursday of the month from 5pm to 11pm. Arrive early, pick a free slot from the list, and play your own records for 15 minutes. It's possible to book a slot via a Facebook message as well. Big Respect to Ben Bell and Scott Prophet for running the event.

Yes indeed, use to pass by SeLector Music, now a Hair dresser. Went through the Basement too, Byrone and any other shop Assistants use to just let me get on with it on my own. There was various Funk material that I also use to Hunt down as some went missing in early times. Byrone was well aware of my travels back down to Southampton. Certainly will stop for this Arena if you fling down selection like they use to in Daddy KooLs back in the days. X
What camera do you use ? We want to record the deptford dub club sessions with a stationary camera behind mixing desk
Canon PowerShot SX620 HS Digital Camera. I'm not an expert on video cameras, this is just very convenient for me to use and fits in a pocket easily. Having said that, as you are going to use a fixed camera, you probably want something better in terms of getting the best sound quality for your videos. Glad to hear that you're going to record the sessions as they deserve a wider audience.
Cool thanks for the info, they’re setting the room up to record sound so that should sort the sound problem out. I though to use a go pro but I heard they over heat and lose footage , the sessions are around six hours so that wouldn’t work ! Thanks for your info though , very helpful
