2022 Nissan Pathfinder features 10.6 cubic feet of interior volume more than the previous model, and it maximizes every inch with family flexibility at top of mind.
While keeping overall vehicle dimensions similar, thoughtful design changes - including increased track width and overall vehicle width, and a widened rear wheelhouse - allow for 164.6 cubic feet of total interior volume, up from 154.0 cubic feet on the previous model.
Thanks to the additional interior volume, the all-new 2022 Pathfinder now offers easier cargo and family loading, and many other every-day utility benefits, including:
◾ Room for up to eight passengers, a first on Pathfinder
◾ Room for up to three car seats in the 2nd row, and two in the 3rd - a first on Pathfinder
◾ Available captain's chairs, a first on Pathfinder - with a no-tools-needed removable console, allowing items up to 7 inches wide to pass between the seats.

The all-new Pathfinder is an ideal family adventure vehicle not just in looks, but in modern capability as well.
Every 2022 Pathfinder features a 284-horsepower 3.5-litre Direct Injection V6 with 259 lb-ft of torque. The engine is matched with an all-new 9-speed automatic transmission, which provides a smooth, strong, direct vehicle response.
The combination of the proven V6 and all-new 9-speed provides strong acceleration and driver confidence when merging or driving out of a turn, and minimizes rpm variation on a grade.
All 2022 Pathfinder models feature Nissan's new Intelligent 4WD with 7-position Drive and Terrain Mode Selector. The 4WD system features direct coupling, which allows torque transfer directly on the clutch pack using oil pressure, allowing for confident, immediate take-off in low-traction situations. Mode selection - Standard, Sport, Eco, Snow, Sand, Mud/Rut and Tow - is displayed as a pop-up notification on the metre cluster.

I always wanted a Pathfinder but was put off by curvy edges. But this one is great comeback of a more box type and more muscle looking suv. I will upgrade my car. Nissan finally is back!
I have a 2012 Nissan Sentra S with over 223,000 miles on it. Never had an issue with the original CVT. I changed the fluid every 60,000 miles as required in the owner’s manual. Nissan is capable to be reliable as Toyota and Honda. You haters should learn how to read a manual and drive a car properly and you won’t have any problems long term.

CVTs are problematic. Give me a 5 speed manual any day of the week.

Wish I can afford the 2022 Nissan Pathfinder....please get those chips out so the prices come down because it is getting ridiculous. DEFINITELY DONT LIKE THE ELECTRIC SHIFTER.....unnecessary idea to save money on essential moving parts. For example let's say down the road you need to put your pathfinder in neutral for the tow truck to get you out of a jam because your truck doesn't start. How do we do that???? Also because this new shifter doesn't have a long history of reliability, perhaps there will be MANY electrical issues and shifting problems down the road??? Sometimes I just dont UNDERSTAND why car companies just cannot leave the Essentials alone?

I may not buy any truck with that feature........JUST BECAUSE
This example may be the same as the push button start instead of a key start. When one wants to power up and down the windows while the vehical is off now you will have to start up the vehicle, burn gas just to get air....just love the interior

I have an ‘18 platinum. The Bose will rattle your teeth on the base and it’s crystal clear. I think it’s 360.

Why does every manufacturer of eve medium sized SUVs assume everyone has 6 kids? Stop stuffing 3 rows standard into these vehicles that aren't even that big. Or at least make it optional. We are just two adults, I don't want 3 rows and I don't want a compact SUV either so the choices are slim.
Maybe consider Getting the Rogue, I have 3 kids so I don’t have a opción with space but I really like the rogue and the price ??? Just perfect

@@kena.8003 Jeep has below average reliability and the others are more expensive luxury cars. Honda, Nissan, Toyota and even Hyundai are more the brands I buy. None of them offer anything larger with 2 rows except the 4-Runner. Had an Xterra before and miss it, but they discontinued it.
@@pigxstix I feel the same way, like the bigger suvs but don’t need three rows.. Kia Sorento also has my attention, it has three rows but those will most likely stay down all the time
