ATCO Village lights up for veterans who call area home

  • Calgary veterans living in a local tiny-house village were treated to a holiday light show Sunday evening.
    The display, at the ATCO Village homes at 908 36th St. S.E., is a Christmas-themed light show synchronized to music, meant to serve as a thank you to veterans in the holiday season.
    The display will run through December, with Calgarians encouraged to tune their radios to 100.5 FM while driving past to appreciate the show while respecting physical distancing measures amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

    The entire tiny home complex could have easily been setup with its own off grid power. Just had to plug it into the leaching cash cow. I love the tiny home concept. But I don't like Atco village. There's utility costs that are completely unnecessary. If I got stuffed into a place like that I'll trash it and leave
