This warms my heart. I used to do this with my kids back when they were teens. We all love history, so we'd find off the beaten track, historical homes, areas and tours. Tiffany - My daughter and I do a long weekend every year at a beach town along Lake Michigan for our annual mother/ daughter day adventure. Nothing is better. Every year we pick a new town a little further up north the coast of Lake Michigan. We swim, shop, sight-see and watch cable/ satellite tv(we just have an antenna at home). My 13 year old daughter is on spring break this week too. I wanted to go on a lil getaway but can't cause of work but I'm planning on something for us to do on Thursday! She's at the age where she'd rather be with her friends than hang out with mom so I'm going to treasure these times when I can get em!
