    You know, it's funny. I'm not sure if it's just luck or a total coincidence, but I'm a newbie with PowerApp and was scratching my head trying to figure out how to update a lookup column. Then, out of the blue, your video popped up - it was only published 12 hours ago! Talk about perfect timing, right? It totally saved me. I can't thank you enough!

    I think I'm a bit confused here -- what is ID a reference to? Is that simply because of the ID column in your table? For example, the table I'm looking at is in DataVerse. Or perhaps this is completely different because it's sharepoint

      @@michaelalex2322 sure is! I was able to patch it much simpler than I thought, just pass the record itself as the value for the lookup column. My main issue was typing the wrong column name for an hour lol. Thanks though!
