I feel that those feelings are extremely valid. So happy that you shared your feelings because hearing you express yourself is helping me sort out my feelings.
What you are feeling is perfectly normal....you have to feel how you feel. You said it yourself, people are dying and you are worrying about a babyshower! That's ok, every single woman who is pregnant are feeling the same things. I would be pissed too if I were pregnant now, but think about all other events in peoples lives that have been altered. Just as many seniors who are not having official graduations, proms, weddings, family reunions, school reunions, vacations. Everyone is going through the storm! And no one is liking it. You could not have told me at the beginning of 2020 that we all would be experiencing something like this. I am retired, my days are numbered, I can't afford too many years like this, my husband and I are supposed to be traveling enjoying our lives but here we are, in the house! I was in a pretty bad funk myself the other day, because I haven't seen my family since Christmas. I just let it ride, knowing it would pass. That is a great idea of your mother-in-law to document as much as possible. Yes we are strong and they got thru it during the Spanish flu and just think their technology and medical skills are much better than that of 1918, so buck up soldier, it is going to be ok. If you need a crying buddy I am it.
Hola Rocío. Girl, please share which eyebrow and lip pencils you used, your makeup came out really good! I have to be honest though, I was becoming impatient with the speed of the application. I hardly wear any makeup, when I do, it takes me less than 5 minutes because I don't use a lot. I know the feeling about all your worries regarding having people over to see the baby. I have a five months old and it's hard to say no to family because they do not think the virus is serious, therefore, they do not take precautions. I am glad you decided to do something to create memories about your pregnancy amidst the craziness. I had a rough pregnancy and did not take many pictures of my belly, and now I regret it. I wish you a smooth delivery. God is in control.
HOW IN THE WORLD COULD I FORGET THAT! I was definitely supposed to share all of that info! And the brow and lips are revlon! Let me pull links and add them to the description box and I'll let you know when its ready. and i promise when i put makeup on without ranting it takes less than 10 minutes! I'm speedy gonzalez when it comes to makeup bc its not all extravagant lol and i missed a lot of belly photos in my first trimester bc of all the nausea, and then when all this happened im like eh, whats the point, i dont feel like my happy self. but i WISH i did! starting to do it more now!
Back in 2016 I was expecting my twins. Since day one my pregnancy was ultra complicated. My boys were born at 30 weeks. I wasn't able to hold them for a week. To this day I feel I was robbed of those extra weeks with them in my womb but I'm so thankful they are healthy. I cannot even imagine how you feel. I'm really sorry you are going thru your pregnancy under these though circumstances. But like you said, God has a plan and this is the journey he has chosen for your family. I know it is tough, but take the time to be just you and Penelope, she's listening and already understands what's going on. No matter how bad it is out there, this time with her will never come back. Enjoy it any way you can. Wishing you many more blessings ❤
