Well, yes and no. A decent mid range CPU and a decent amount of RAM can do wonders. I have a ryzen 5 3600 and 16 gigs of RAM and it works fine with plenty of plugins. One thing one has to do is first, don't have super high sample rate (44.1 or 48khz is more than enough)
@@pedrosilvaproductions Yeah, I turned up from 48khz to 192khz and my laptop was broken. RIP laptop, so you're right about high sample rates

You can't be cooking up beats with no fire!
thats why you use busses, create a main vox bus so u dont have to duplicate all the plugins across all the vocals

I watch a lot of the Waves videos and this one feels like a stand out to me.
Not only did it sound great, but David and Lusil work so well together and just look like they’re having fun. Like, I just want to be in the studio to hang out with them on this one.

It's very hard to have scripted content look like the people are genuinely having fun. Chemistry is hard to manufacture. These two actually look like they’re enjoying the process, and the results they’re creating are just fucking dope.
I dig all the CLA vids, Wells, Yoad, Kramer, Scheps. All good stuff.
Darlington’s Mixing class on the H-Series & Young Guru’s subtractive eq are both favourites of mine. I learn a lot from them. But you generally see those guys crafting. Fine tuning stuff that’s already constructed.
It was really cool to see David and Lusil playing. Just trying stuff, experimenting. Shit looked like fun.
