But from now on, I’m going to be uploading every three days, and I have a new series starting on Thursday 1st November which I’m incredibly excited to be sharing. My dear "Tuxedo cat" Lady Jane ... went to the rainbow bridge about two months ago. Once in awhile I think I glimpse her out of the corner of my eye ... She had such pretty ears, black shading to grey, to pink to white.

Weirdly I just discovered this channel, but it has been almost a year since I lost my cat at 10 years. I felt the same way about getting a new cat, kind of guilty and hesitant. But since we were sort of robbed of the silver years of our cat, we adopted an elderly one from the shelter and she has been so amazing. Just wanted to contribute my story for anyone who goes through something similar, older cats always need homes and are super affectionate and already house trained. ALSO I'm still pretty traumatized by the loss of my first cat, but that's okay! I don't have to ever feel completely ok as long as I can move on and give love to more cats who need it.

Started watching you a week ago watching the golden gate bridge vid, and loved it! Days later, I found the "Reggie wasn't well" video. I was overwhelmed with cuteness. Little did I know, I was looking at the vids on your channel and found the vid, "Heartbroken." Tears were flooding my eyes, as I was overcome with sadness. Then, I saw this, and was feeling remembrance, as I am going through the same as you. I had a small dog since I was a baby, and did so much for her. Then, on December 11 2016, she had a seizure when I was at school. The next morning, she was gone. Little to my family's knowledge, our current dog, was born three days later, and we got her from a foster home. She was abandoned twice, and was feared by the foster family, as she was seen hostile, even though she just wanted to play. So we took her in! I know exactly how you feel. To lose, to grief, and to love again. You feel like your replacing them, but they always have a place in your heart. Sorry for the long comment, but thank you for helping me grief again too. 😢😔😌
So sad to hear that reggie passed away! My cat, Coco also passed away. I woke seeing him paralysed on the floor and he could not breathe. I immediately took him to the vet and we found out he had a severe lung disease and he had to be euthanized. It's really hard take in losing a loved pet. Reggie and Coco are up in heaven now. Probably playing with each other.

Dear Chris, I love this mindset you had to cope with losing Reggie and that you shared this for those who were dealing with the same thing. A counterweight will come to you soon enough Chris.
My cat just died and I’m going through the same feelings as you. Brownie died at 18 years old and a few weeks before her final day she stopped purring, I knew it was the beginning of the end at that point because she always been a very load purring cat. I hate the quietness without her here and things like not having to leave my door a bit open so she could come in at night feels uncomfortable. I want a kitten to help fill in the hole in my life but I don’t want to seem as if I’m replacing her.
I'm sorry to hear that. That's the exact series of thoughts I went through myself. The only thing I can suggest is that when you're ready, you get a rescue kitten or cat. That way you're giving new hope and life to something that desperately needs it, and restoring some of the balance in the world. All the best.
I lost one of my adopted kittens, Booboo, when she was about one year old. She died due to snake poisoning and when I'd found her she was already gone.

So sad to hear that reggie passed away! My cat, Coco also passed away. I woke seeing him paralysed on the floor and he could not breathe. I immediately took him to the vet and we found out he had a severe lung disease and he had to be euthanized. It's really hard take in losing a loved pet. Reggie and Coco are up in heaven now. Probably playing with each other.

My cat just died and I’m going through the same feelings as you. Brownie died at 18 years old and a few weeks before her final day she stopped purring, I knew it was the beginning of the end at that point because she always been a very load purring cat. I hate the quietness without her here and things like not having to leave my door a bit open so she could come in at night feels uncomfortable. I want a kitten to help fill in the hole in my life but I don’t want to seem as if I’m replacing her.
I'm sorry to hear that. That's the exact series of thoughts I went through myself. The only thing I can suggest is that when you're ready, you get a rescue kitten or cat. That way you're giving new hope and life to something that desperately needs it, and restoring some of the balance in the world. All the best.
