Redevelopment of W. King Street: March 2023 First Friday Forum

On Friday, March 3, Hourglass was joined by Marshall Snively and Jeremy Young from Lancaster City Alliance, Evon Bergey and Elizabeth Soto from Landis Communities, and Kevin Ressler from the United Way, for a conversation about the redevelopment of W. King Street. This corridor has seen more than $31 million of private investment since 2015, and is now welcoming a new anchor project, Landis Place on King, a 55+ community set to open in May 2023. Landis Place on King has 79 units, including 10 units of affordable housing. Following this presentation our members had the opportunity to tour the project.
