- Hey friends, today I'm giving first impressions on the 4 new Amouage fragrances that are releasing 09/15/2020. Those fragrances are Amouage Enclave, Meander, Ashore and Crimson Rocks. Meander is the standout. You can actually wear it without clearing out a room. Mackenzie Reilly is a master perfumer. Her work across many brands is consistently outstanding and unique.
The exceptional thing about Amouage is that almost all of their frags are absolutely unisex. I'm a guy, and appreciate most of their "men's" frags: especially the more accessible ones such as Reflection and Jubilation XXV.
But one of the little "life hacks" I've discovered about Amouage frags is that I often prefer the "WOMAN" versions over the "MAN" versions. Especially with Memoir, Epic, Myths, and Interlude. The women's counterparts are much lighter/sweeter/subtler variations of the man versions. E.g.: Memoir Woman is much smoother than Memoir Man, with a much more prominent absinthe note.
So yeah, I will definitely be test-driving all four of the new Amouage releases.

I love when even scent experienced people like him are unable to describe a scent like amouage meander. That really sparks my interest as it says so much about its uniqueness..
Enclave sounds like a future purchase. My favorite Amouage is still Beach Hut Man. The mint and ivy combo is just gorgeous. Also a huge fan of Silver, Portrayal and Sunshine Man. Jubilation XXV also a favorite.

I don’t find meander too masculine, I LOVE it! It’s like a free version of Le Lion by Chanel , I can’t get enough of meander , it’s cozy and makes me want to be outside in a forest , it’s so delicious, i feel the fog and green and and smoke . It’s everything

Does your one feel above average spicy at opening? My Interlude Black Iris has this spicy note more prominent than anything else and compared to sample is quiet different.

You are always great..... Your Reviews are very easy to understand, Direct on Points..... I have AMOUAGE INTERLUDE MAN, It's a blue beast but I want some of easy wearing from AMOUAGE MAN Perfumes
I’ve a bottle of Interlude in the box under the bed waiting impatiently for the cold weather. Amouage are a really interesting house for the most part. Didn’t even know these releases were upcoming.
The price point is a killer though.

The problem for me is that most amouages has a great opening but the drydown suffers some Times. Not all but some.

Man, I’ve only got 2 Amouage scents in my life. I love their bottles but Amouage scents are seriously complex. Currently I own Reflection and interlude. Hopefully these new scents are a bit easier to wear.

It’s been a long time. Nowadays I’ve expanded my Amouage collection. My new love is Black Iris and Overture. I’ve grown out of Reflection man and original Interlude. If you’re asking between those 2, I couldn’t choose. Since I use Reflection man as a spring/summer scent and Interlude was my Fall/Winter scent. Both are amazing in their own way. Hope that helps
