Try taking the Demon Slayer breath styles for examples. They all derive from 1 single breath style but there are multiple for different shapes or styles of swords and there's one that doesn't even use a sword. Zoro found the style that fit him and perfected it. I also think the sword in the mouth is there to just cover extra ground rather than actually be an inate power of the style.

@@MugiwaraMocha Like I said. To cover extra ground. If he kneels when slashing with his swords, he's hitting the legs and the gut. The swords in his hands cover the strength needed to trip and wound his opponent while the mouth sword gravely wounds the opponent or causes them to go into shock. Covering extra ground doesn't mean specifically offensive or defensive or whatever, it just means to cover what the initial process doesn't. A sniper covers extra ground from a vantage point to lead a team safely. A swordsman having 2 or more swords is to cover what 1 sword cannot do. A sword is not meant to be a weapon but an extention of one's body. 1 katana is the ultimate offense, 2 katanas (or a katana and a nata) are the ultimate defense, and 3 are the ultimate Yin and Yang.

Plus zoro is pretty tall so he has longer reach and would have more room to swing his swords around

I actually tried holding a real sword in my mouth and it's a little hard, mine was T10 steel so not super heavy. You can definitely cut something with enough practice though.

most of his techniques are widely around momentum-based attack where he use all of his body to create momentum.
like tatsumaki, Hyou-dama-giri, Torou-Nagashi(?) and probably Onigiri also.

To be fair the dude literally trained his Jaw as a kid to be prepared to use it, I think in order to make this useful you would have to spend a lot of time working with it. But even then it’s an anime, it’s not reality.

Haven't watched one piece yet, but I have seen naruto and killer b uses a similar style. He puts one of his 8 blades in his mouth and the other 7 are either held or placed somewhere. But anyway, he seemed to mostly just move his entire body all together;spinning and jumping around rather than make more individual movements. That would be my guess.(Killer B has slightly shorter and lighter blades so holding it in his mouth seems more practical and possible.)
As a non naruto watcher and op watcher zoro uses momentum and uses his full body to control the third sword and does not move or spin or jump around
i got an idea: make so that zoro's mouth katana is made especially to be held by the mouth (for cosplayers, so dull to be safer) so basically it has some teeth bite part in the handle
I was thinking this too. Make a mouth guard for the 3rd blade that helps to bite down on it better for cosplay

Zoro uses the third sword to protect and defend the blind side of his neck, ( or your non Dominic side)He just goes for straight slashes and jabs so it doesn’t get in the way, he doesn’t do trick like in the video.

The only way to make it in any way realistic, is to have a short tanto dagger in the mouth, a one handed wakizashi in the same side hand as the tanto blade is sticking out and the katana in the other hand. This minimise the risk of hitting the blades together. Holding the wakizashi in the reverse grip further reduces the risk greatly, but then that sword loses offensive capacity, still it can be used to parry with. This would still not be very practical and the only even remotly useful attack with the tanto is to slash with it against your opponents face/throat in very close grappling distance, since even a shallow cut to the throat can be lethal.
