  • Paul Pierce has been jealous of Lebron since day 1 of them meeting. Even after retiring he is still very bitter of LBJ’s success in the NBA.

DAYYYUMMMM! Paul Pierce is a true LeBron hater, and like all haters, his opinions become ridiculous and unfair when they discuss the target of their hatred. I have a theory about why Paul hates LeBron that is different from Perkins' theory. Paul thought that with himself, Kevin Garnett, Ray Allen, and Rajon Rondo, that the Celtics had a dynasty in the making in 2008. LeBron ended those dreams, so an incredibly talented Celtic team only had 1 title. Also, ANYONE who doesn't have LeBron as top 1,2, or 3 is insane.

@@goldmo2427 The 2011 Mavs v Heat series has nothing to do with the discussion at hand, which is LeBron v Pierce...unless you're now trying to transition the discussion to LeBron v Paul Pierce in the finals and we all know that Pierce has 2 finals appearances to LeBron's 10.
Now back to LeBron v Pierce. I'm not sure what point you're aiming at by stating that it took the Heat 7 games to beat the Celts in 2012 because one could just as easily point out that it took the 2008 Big 3 Celtics 7 games to beat LeBron when he was a Cav with little to no help.
Bottom line is that once LeBron had help, he not only sent Boston's Big 3 home in 2012, he's also the reason that they were ultimately broken up and Pierce had to try his hands in Brooklyn and as a Clipper and was never heard from or relevant again. Btw, the Celtics Big 3 in the grand scheme was overrated because they could only win 1 ring....they may as well have been the 2019 Toronto Raptors.

LeBron was respectful to Pierce and his Celtics and considered them his rivals during the Cavs and Celtics era.
2008 was Paul's finest moment, when he got Bron in a mano-a-mano epic showdown, 7 games, and after which he won the chip. It was a duel but you gotta figure out that after that Bron legend was growing and Pierce remained the same player.
Clearly with a massive ego, though.
Even in the Brooklyn era when Bron dropped 51 he was still running his mouth.
Pierce is the "fake it till you make it" epitome. He says and acts like he is the same level as Bron or D Wade as his jealousy ate him alive.
1 chip with an all time great team, against the injured Lakers.
1 chip hot those guys thinkin they were all that.
Pierce is a jealous little dude who feels like he deserves more credit and respect, even though he cant play defense, he was never a top top level scorer, his conditioning was suspect and his "clutch gene" actually non-existent and a lie. I dont remember any game winners on the biggest stage, in the playoffs.
He desperately wants to be close to LeBron level and he fails to understand that Bron is in another galaxy.
Bron is arguably GOAT and he is in that conversation.
Paul is arguably a top 5 small forward of his GENERATION.

Wow stephen A really said pau name as if he wasn't the sole difference maker in kobe getting rings 4-5. Smh they made the finals the very first year they traded for him. He was a beast and he arguably should've been finals mvp when they beat the Celtics. Put some respect on bro name man that's sad.

He should of absolutely been finals MVP when they beat the Celtics. I don’t know how people deny how great Pau was and his massive impact on that team.

Pau was a huge contributor to the Lakers 2 titles, i'm not delusional. He's underrated for sure. Idk why Stephen A reacted like that.

I notice pau gets a lot of disrespect, he was an all star and all things considering, he is a top 10 laker.

Pierce is salty LeBron knocked him out of the playoffs like every year so it makes sense.

it's funny that he talks as if he carried the Celtics by himself.
And criticized Lebron can't carry a team to win a championship.

After 2010 Paul Pierce really struggling with the miami heat. The main reason Heat beat celtic 4 years straight in playoff was Lebron James. Of course he doesn't afraid of James cuz he alreday team up with KG and Ray allen.

3 hof has to be a young Lebron and he brags about it he’s so pathetic

    •  Před 3 lety

and 2 of those HOFs are still milking that ONE RING that they won 12 years ago, i know damn well Pierce envy LeBron because he got Rondo and Allen another ring, meanwhile KG and Pierce only have 1

I'm not a LeBron fan but I know greatness when I see it. LeBron is a great without question. Paul Pierce was good in his time but he is not even close to LeBron. He's simply a hater.
