If anyone (Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor or Teacher) wants the Old Covenant Tithe, then he must be of the tribe of Levi, and doing service at the Temple in Jerusalem as instructed by God in Numbers 18 according to the Law. Nowhere in the entire New Testament is anyone commanded by God to take tithes from anyone. God did not transfer the ownership of the tithe from the Tribe of Levi (Hebrews 7:5; Numbers 18:21-26) to any Pastor, Church, Ministry or anyone? "If you don't OWN the tithe, you have NO right to collect it in any shape or form from anyone."
    Everyone should give as instructed:
2 Corinthians 9:7, “Each one of you should give just as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, because God loves a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to make all grace overflow to you so that because you have enough of everything in every way at all times, you will overflow in every good work.”

discernment in not just being able to divide right from wrong but to be able to judge things which seem to be close to the truth .I would want to acknowledge and appreciate you M.O.G for such a teaching on tithe.I personally agree tithing is not important in Christ and believers shouldn't be forced to give it and if they want to give it ,then proper teachings on giving must be done for them to understand what they are doing ,pastors need to be fed by the flock its the responsibility of local members ,if their tithes is used to further the gospel ,i don't see any problem ;only if people voluntarily say ,10% of my income ,I will give it to God its not binding on believers .New Testament believers are taught to give according to their ability ,however you mentioned ,tithe to be under the LAW which is incorrect.I therefor appeal to you man of God to rightly divide the word of God before you share ,it will cause unnecessary confusion in the body of Christ.I believe the truth has to be properly explained ,if not it becomes poison and dangerous to the church.Don't be in a hurry to prove a point ,calm down man of God and make sure you don't make wrong statements in your teachings.

"And verily they that are of the sons of Levi, who receive the office of the priesthood, have a commandment to take tithes of the people ACCORDING TO THE LAW, that is, of their brethren, though they come out of the loins of Abraham." Hebrews 7:5
I think this verse clearly states that it is taken according to the law which means that it is indeed a tenet of the law. Matthew 23:23 (In Jesus' own words, tithing is a matter of the law).

Galatians 3:13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: 3:14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
Why did Jesus need to bestow an Abrahamic blessing on gentiles who are now under a new covenant of grace. Surely the greatest sacrifice of all time (His crucifiction) should've been enough to bless all who believe without having to mention Abraham? My guess is that if the old dispensation didn't matter now, we shouldn't hear the bible talking about gentiles receiving the blessing of Abraham THROUGH JESUS CHRIST for that matter. Now we may need to examine the nature of Abraham's blessing. How did he get blessed? Can we receive an Abrahamic blessing without practising that which Abraham practiced to get blessed? My guess is, we might have to do what he did to get blessed.
As for the laws of Moses that you say are no longer to be observed by us, why are people observing some of the laws, for example to desist from having other gods, adultery, murder to mention but a few? Why single out tithe and not everything?
From my understanding, the sacrifice of Jesus Christ as the atonement of sin, means we should nolonger sacrifice offerings to get forgiven by God. But all the principles e.g. give and it shall be given unto you, are truths which cannot be rubbished by any amount of revelation.

Dont mislead people my dear friend. We are children of Abraham through faith by the blood of Jesus Christ. The covenant given to Abraham was circumcission and ours as christians is the blood of Jesus Christ (Holy Ghost). The priests or Levites are pastors (not vekumakoreji but Jeremiah 3:15).Those should receive tithes if they are not working and they also pay tithes themselves.Free will offerings are for the developments of the church they are not enforced but a tithe is a tenth of your produce and its mandatory to every true christian. If the bible refer to Israel christian are also spiritual israelites

[10/31, 00:10] munyaearnestymunyack: Many believers who don’t want to tithe say that there are no scriptures in the New Testament that tell us we (must) tithe. And I say there weren’t any scriptures for Abram and Jacob either. Why would there be scriptures to repeat for us to do something that God has ALREADY said can be done of one’s FREE WILL in exchange for a blessing?
For those who don’t tithe, what are you doing that is scripturally superior to honor God sufficiently enough to warrant His favor and blessing in return?”
[10/31, 00:11] munyaearnestymunyack: The first person to make a TITHE, which means a tenth (ten percent) of one’s INCREASE, was Abram (Genesis 14:20) … Notice please: Abram’s TITHE was not under the LAW which came more than six hundred years later. It wasn’t requested by anybody. It wasn’t suggested by anybody. It wasn’t coerced by anybody. It was purely a VOLUNTARY act of gratitude to HONOR “the Most High God, Possessor of heaven and earth.” Abram simply appreciated God’s FAVOR and gave up something of value in order to HONOR the One who had helped him get the victory.”
[10/31, 00:14] munyaearnestymunyack: There is only one time in your Bible where tithing was a REQUIREMENT and that was during the fifteen hundred years before Jesus came while Israel was under the LAW.
Before that, there was a bigger picture of HONORING God with one’s substance. An honoring occurs when something that is of value to the one doing the giving is freely or voluntarily giving to someone as a sacrificial gesture of thanksgiving or appreciation. Is God worthy to be highly esteemed for what He has done and what He still does in our lives that we would specially HONOR Him for it? If it was that way before the LAW, how much more should He be esteemed under the New Covenant where we have been given a BETTER Covenant with all things in Christ (Hebrews 8:6)?
Even during the LAW where a specific form of tithing was REQUIRED, it was only for some of the people. There was never a universal tenth that was REQUIRED from everybody. In addition, even during that time after the tithe was instituted at the beginning of the Israelites’ second year in the wilderness, God PREFERRED freewill offerings. Study all this out for yourself starting in Exodus 35:5.
Friend, giving to God is about HONORING Him for the great things He has done in our lives. It ALWAYS has been that way even under the LAW. We are not REQUIRED to tithe under the New Covenant. But where is the scripture that says we can stop honoring God under the New Covenant?
[10/31, 00:18] munyaearnestymunyack: Malachi 3:8-9: “Will a man rob God? Yet you are robbing Me! But you say, ‘How have we robbed You?’ In tithes and offerings. You are cursed with a curse, for you are robbing Me, the whole nation of you.”
As Christians, we have to understand that the Old Testament verses like these have to be viewed in light of Jesus’ work on the cross.
In this case, Galatians 3:13 clearly states that “Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us.”
“Christian believers have been specifically REDEEMED from the Curse of the Law (Galatians 3:13)…If we have been redeemed from the curse of the law, then there is no way we can be cursed for not tithing…So under an entirely New Covenant, it seems to me unscriptural to be telling people that if they don’t tithe, they’re going to fall under a curse because the Curse of the Law no longer applies to believers…”
[10/31, 00:18] munyaearnestymunyack: “It always requires faith to give the first. That’s why so few Christians experience the blessings of tithing. It means giving to God before you see if you are going to have enough. By tithing, it is as if we are saying to God, ‘I recognize You first. I am putting You first in my life, and I trust You to take care of the rest of the things in my life.’ That is why tithing is so important. It is the primary way we acknowledge that God is first.”
[10/31, 00:19] munyaearnestymunyack: How many times did God test Pharaoh’s heart? The answer is 10. How many commandments are there? … How many times did God test Israel while they were wandering in the wilderness? And how many times did God test Jacob’s heart (by allowing his wages to be changed) when he was working for Laban? Or how many days was Daniel tested in (Daniel 1)? In each case, the answer is, of course, 10…
In Matthew 25, 10 virgins had their preparedness tested. Ten days of testing are mentioned in Rev 2:10… the number 10 is associated with testing throughout the Bible. And the tithe represents the ultimate ‘heart test’ for the believer

VP brother, You lied when you said only Kings had to go to prophet house, please repent. Go get into good books with your brothers then pray, not fight family issues on stage.
I've followed your sermons closely and got a lot to question, but since it's not television show, you might not give a minute since it gives no relevance.
If ever you or family are punished by zanu, it is not about Jesus but politics and jealousy.
Spare some time and we can share more, maybe I can get more light and repent.

Don't listen to Chiwenga. He is lost. His teachings contradicts truth. He is a criticiser not a preacher .
