- Amelia Ng was born a seemingly healthy baby, but when she was diagnosed with a rare degenerative disease at 18 months old that left her unable to eat or move about, doctors didn’t expect her to live past her second birthday.
12 years on, Amelia has continually defied the expectations of medical experts and even her family, having recently celebrated her 14th birthday.
