The shining nugget that caught my eye was that chest mounted cannon that Man was wearing. I live in Oregon. The Bears and Cats are out looking for groceries. Be careful when your eyes are on the gold.

Well if you’re thinking about dollars and sense it would make way more sense to spend $1500 on a drone to fly into the mine that has sensors to avoid crashing. $1500 to own a drone vs $4500 to rent a mechanical dog with a camera makes way more dollars and sense haha.

wow ... that's amazing ... a $400,000 robot found gold in a friking gold mine [of all places] !
Do you think it could find fresh water in a fresh water river ?
Or salt water in an ocean ?

You are missing the point. Alot of these old mines were stripped clean or colasped and or dangerous to explore. Sending the dog into hard to reach or dangerous places can give you an idea if the old mine is worth investing in to get operational again. The dog is small enough to get through hard to reach places. This will save alot of lives once the robot dogs become cheaper and more mainstream.

      @@OneTyler2Many : Save a lot of lives ? Really ??
How many people "lost their lives" in 2023 prospecting old mines with a view to getting them operational again ?
or are you suggesting that the "dog" will only be saving lives once it becomes cheaper and more mainstream ?
I think you are the one who is missing the point !

What a freaking waste of money, I would have shimmied down into that mine and brought up enough samples to pay to get it shored up for $4500.00 cash

Whoever owns that robot didn't charge them a dime. This was one big infomercial for them.
