Sounded legit, That's how he is like and how things went. But he blamed me for everything when the real cause to why I was pulling my energy back was because of his lack of transparency on what he was doing, and when I asked him about his plan between us, he said there's no more plan. I guess he just wanted to focus and concentrate about his life without even mentioned it to me, but he left me in limbo instead with his in and out behaviour, So I got fed up with it. I rather him telling me to move on and forget about connection, than not letting me know where to stand on that position. He could choose what ever he wish over, but I was pulling away as soon as no reciprocity, as relationship has 2 way street, not one way street. He went ballistic when I entertained other people though, even when I was doing it based on resentment, because that's not what I really wanted to happen, I was just teaching his ego. I could feel though there was a third party, as was always rushing to shut conversation when he was talking to me on the phone towards the end. Also he never called me from his house where he lived, but always from out side.
