(L)ucy in the (S)ky with (D)iamonds. Yes, definitely about drugs. :)
Beatles are my grandma's favourite and I grew up with the entire catalogue being played in the home. Your vlog is incredible - I'm happy that everyone was so friendly and that you got a giant dose of the Beatles! Being English yoruself, I'm sure that you handled the accent there, but to be honest I've heard some "lever-pullers" (shoutout to those who have seen the movie "Yellow Submarine") and I thought that they were maybe Scot or even Welsh? Even Newcastle doesn't seem so northern, accent-wise, as Liverpool?
I've always felt that the Beatles were a bit star-crossed, despite their success. John spent his years denouncing violence, and he was murdered. George was all about health, and he died of cancer. And of course Paul died in 1969...:). Ringo always played the carefree one and he's still here!
Hahah I googled it afterwards and soon realised the LSD acronym. Thank you so much, Liverpool is honestly the coolest place. I agree, the accent seems so aggressively north, it could be on par with the Scottish 😂 that's an interesting point about the beatles too, I never thought of it like that 🤔 I guess the moral of the story there is to be as carefree as possible!
Looks like a really fun place, thank you for sharing 😊
Thanks for watching 🥰
Liver building . Canard building . And port of Liverpool building
Thank you I'm just having a Google now!
Would be a great video if your sound was better, still nice video all the same 👍
Sorry about that - I do need to get some compact mics going forward!
It’s not ‘Royal Albert Docks’ , it’s ‘ The Albert Dock’ …YNWA
If you look here albertdock.com/ and here en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Royal_Albert_Dock,_Liverpool, it's Royal Albert dock
@@KatieWootton 🤣🤣 not when you’re in Liverpool or from Liverpool, it’s ’The Albert Dock’ 👍🏻
@@mrp5169 you can't correct someone for calling it what it's actually called 😂
@@KatieWootton that’s the whole point of being welcomed to Liverpool, you need to learn Scouse when you’re there. Part of that is using the local words, sayings. YNWA
