First as usual great vid. Love it. It seems the magus is doing quite well. The engie however.....not so much imo. I played mine and its just not the same. The turret nerf was hard and the dps is a bit less. The snipe spec is some what ok but as usual squishy and now a bit more. The grenadier, which is what I main in, is pretty much trashed and will require some major acceptance of the changes and try and find someway to play. I pretty much for now have given up on the engi and will continue to play AM dps more then anything. It took a hit as well but no surprises given the history of this server. Major dps hit on AM but alas my love for the game is stronger so ill just push through like always. Hope the devs are happy.
Anyway I love your vids!! They are great to watch and if I ever play destro in the future I will have lots of vids to watch and practice. Cant wait for you to try engi and give it a good run. I would love to know your opinions and thoughts on the changes.
Thanks! I havent run a lot engi lately, but had few roams with my old spec and its still viable. Kitiis toughenow, but as the cone is wide you can strafe away and keep shootinh your dots, dmg is very low while doing it tho as no grenades can be thrown while running. Snipe spec is pretty much unaffected by changes, but im eager to try the triumphant 4pc bonus for extra BS and toughness debuff. it can actually do a lot. AM is still a strong choice for roaming, specially in dot spec.
I feel main issue still is the AP for engi. why every ability has to cost 35-50 AP to cast? Also engi is a bit affected by channel addon, not as badly as choppa tho, feels like my phosphor shells are interrupted on the spot.
I try to make post patch engi video soonish, and once i get my triumphant farmed will try the new snipe spec too.
Im stuck picking magus or chosen as my main as a beginner what would recommend? I enjoy magus more but im not the best player
Chosen might Be More versantile, its decent roamer and always wanted on both large and smallscale. Magus gets to blast ppl tho,but has very tough Time when leveling as you Will Be true glasscannon and rely on positioning a lot
Looks like the Magus has serious hitting power now - How is the engie handling post - patch?
I dont really know yet. Will try it later. I cant see it getting much worse tho. With armor debuff actually working it might have some serious hitting Power. My Solo build can Be a bit harsh now as im super Bad at kiting and strafing
But where does this hiting power goes from? Read notes - and did not see it.
I didn't see it on magiis either, but If they get same triumphant Buff )debuff and The engi armor debuff from turret Works then its already a boost in snipe spec. Tho Will lose a lot of range. Im very curious about it
healing on my RP on live was my main focus but the engie was truly joyful to play - Only got him to high 80's RR and was good break from healing. Played all the stumpy classes.@@daewuur
