Synopsis - Dushman is a 1971 Indian Hindi-language film produced by Premji and directed by Dulal Guha. It is based on a novel by Virendra Sharma. The film stars Rajesh Khanna in the title role and for which he received a Filmfare nomination as Best Actor, the only nomination for the film. Meena Kumari, Mumtaz, Bindu, Rehman, Asit Sen and Johnny Walker are part of the cast.
This film was made in Tamil as Needhi in 1972, in Telugu as Khaidi Babai (1974), in Malayalam as Maattoly in Kannada as Hosa Theerpu (1983) and in Bengali as Nishpap Asami (1997) .

आज ज़ब ये फ़िल्म इतनी अच्छी लगी तो ज़ब रिलीज हुई होगी तब तो दर्शक पूरी फ़िल्म रोते हुए देख रहे होंगे।
मीणा कुमारी को जानबूझकर लिया गया है।
क्योंकि उनका रोल बस एक ही अभिनेत्री कर सकती थी
वो थी बस मीणा कुमारी और कोई नहीं।
बाकि सभी कलाकारों मे जान डाल दी फ़िल्म मे।
उस ज़माने मे भी काफ़ी धूम मचाई थी इस फ़िल्म ने।
कभी देखी नहीं थी ये फ़िल्म लेकिन इच्छा बचपन से थी
मेरे बचपन से।

Wonderful film. I saw this film when I was in 7th grade and I remember crying the whole time. It was such an emotional film. Now decades later I cried again watching it. Such a beautiful film. It was a hit movie of its time. What great gems of those days are in this movie like; Meena Kumari Ji, Leela Mishra Ji, Rehman Ji, Abhi Bhattacharya Ji, Johnny Walker Ji, Anwar Hussain Ji, Asit Sen Ji, Kanhaiya Lal Ji, Rajesh Khanna Ji, Bindu Ji, Mumtaz Ji, Naaz Ji. She adds another bright feather to her ever shining crown..directer Dulal Guha wrote another powerful role for her.alas,untimely death did not allow her .had she been around ,she would have scalesd greater heights.like ashok kumar,mkwould have lend the new meaning to female character acting.as aheroine mk always the topper .in character roles too bk would have created history.this film is a shining example.mk ke ka jawab nahi!
