disney adults are weird
But harmless. May all of us find something that makes us that happy.
â@@Username0467 idk about that
â@@Username0467 yeah.. "harmless"
How about you guys by Joe business and yeah so if you were, does the adult you wouldnât like this

who has $2000 to dispose of on PINS đ thatâs nearly the amount my parents pay for rent
They can prob sell each pin for 9$ and make their money Back easy
A single pin can be $5-15 depending, so honestly a good deal, and if they resell, even better. Thereâs over 100-200 pins in there apparently.
People who make more money than your parents
@@RowanWolf22 yes but they arenât selling all of the pins. They will be hopefully selling some but only a few of them were rare. So the generic ones probably wouldnât even sell for 7 bucks. But I mean with inflation still kinda high in the US who knows
@@grilledcheesus thatâs just pure rudeness
SCORED??!! YALL BOUGHT PINS FOR MORE THAN WHAT MY RENT COSTSđ
and they can make it back for double. pins can go for 15-20$ and thatâs for modern ones. ones from back in the day or old rides can go for even more
@@i-dont-numbers-well likely they were fake so not that awesome deal after all lol
@@gugomajo4161 even fake pins can sell though. some people just want the pins for cosmetic purposes. some want them for collectors purposes. and some want them to resell them. while i donât think blowing 2k like that is a good idea. itâs still her money and she can likely make it back
Eh
Yall should have dealed them down-
I have A LOT of experiences with flea markets and swap meets, and u could have dealed them down to about 1,500 or maybe a 1,000
We would have tried but he was firm on the price since he was planning on selling individually for more
Honestly 2000 is good deal allreadt i wouldnt try to bargain if i were them
@@pincessshannon but he said âall or nothingâ that doesnât imply individual selling
I wouldâve argued about the hassle of selling individually.
That is still *OUTRAGEOUS* for pins
Made me feels so much better about the $20 I just spent in a game
đđđ
LOL you and me both xD
A toddler manages money better than Disney Adults dawg đ
They are collectors what do you expect
What people don't get is that one dinsney pin can be 15-25 dollars each, and thats for modern pins, vintage pins can go for so much more depending on the rarity. So 2,000 for 3 books that look to have a ton of vintage pins is a steal. They could make a lot of money for the pins and not at the cost of the older man cause he clearly just wanted to get rid of them, not take the effort of selling each pin individually.
Even if they don't sell any of the pins, they got a lot of pins worth more than what they paid and hours of enjoyment đ
Yeah what you don't understand is pend are something you sometimes put on a shirt and rent is something you pay every month. It's their money and they can do what they want but three books of pens to look at is ridiculous and that man probably would have lowered the price if the tried.
BroâŠfor 2k you could have bought a plane ticket to Europe! Seen a REAL castle! Experienced some culture that wasnât completely manufactured for you by some corporation banking on your nostalgia and lack of adult hobbies. This is sad to me.
@@Kirsten_is_cursed10 yessss!
I didn't realize this was such a thing
@@Kirsten_is_cursed10 Lack of adult hobbies? Having the money to buy these pins makes it an adult hobby.
Jesus imagine having that much disposable income
right, it's maddening
â@@cordiesmith So go out and earn it for yourself. Jealousy is really sad. Learn a skill and set up a little side hustle. I made over ÂŁ600 profit for a bit of extra cash last year just making balms and wax melts and selling them. It's not much but it was enough to have a lovely holiday. Instead of being jealous, do something yourself.
@@faithpearlgenied-a5517 lmao sure Jan
Yeah I donât have that much to spend on Disney pins at once.
Itâs very possible they were fake pins as a super common in the Enamel pin, world with Disney pins
if they're paying 2k for pins i think they're gonna know which are fake and which aren't đ
I hope none of them are counterfeit
This price sounds crazy at first but doing the math, Disney pins are usually about $20 a pin and with the math itâs 2,000 divided by about 3 books = 666.66 a book, 666.66 divided by about 7 pages a book = 95.52, then that divided by roughly 27 pins per page thatâs about $3.53 a pin, so they didnât get scammed but also this might be an even lower number because this is just an estimated cost
They earn the money..they get to spend it on what they like...why is everyone so mad?
They also gave the seller a few thousand dollars they can use now.
Fr
Disney adults are a plague
Sounds like someone elseâs happiness bothers you. Youâre the plague
real
A plague? They earn money to spend on things they like...how is that a plague?
Honestly u right
They're literally just having fun
thats honestly what i would do for sanrio
People in the comments, please just let people enjoy things
No â€
I mean sure, but would you spend 2000 at once on something you'll pretty much never use?
â@@heavenlyplayz2393that's called collecting hun đ
@kim areska that's true, but why spend 2000 all at once? It would suck if you suddenly need all that money for something more serious
@@heavenlyplayz2393 2000 is not a big of number for ppl who have money. Maybe she's saving for her hobby, maybe she have spare money. Idk I'm not her đ€·
Absolutely worth it!! Thatâs an insane amount of pins and they all look really awesome!! Good find!
They are!
nope
nope
nope

"who would spend that much for 3 books of Disney pins?" Uhhh Mee??! Because pins are my weaknesses
i would call this weird but i spend the same amount on anime and video game themed pins/books/posters/figurines. pot calling the kettle black as they say đ€·ââïž
Wow, someone able to self reflect and not judge! Great :) that's refreshing. So many judgemental people on here.
For everyone shocked by the 2k⊠if they film a video about it, it becomes a tax write off for a business expense. Instead of fully eating that 2k, it gets redistributed through their business taxes. CZcamsrs and tiktokers are independent contractors and small business owners. In the US small businesses lose like half of their profit through strict taxes. Submitting things like this can help lower what you need to pay in taxes, because the of the increase âbusiness expensesâ, your profit goes down and you can end up paying less in taxes.
Really glad you didnât try to bargain for less. Itâs worthwhile, think of how much more he mustâve spent through years of collecting and going to the parks; I feel like he deserved it!
I could literally do a 3 day stay at Disney World with the amount you used to buy those pins đ
Honestly I think its worth it there can be rare pins and imagine how long they collectd them so worth it epescially if you love Disney and have the money tho
2,000 dollars for pins? đ girl thatâs the whole trip to Disney
Probably depends on if you stay on property or not.
They are happy, they got the money for it, and the happiest of all is the vendor, that most it be a blessing for him. Good. đ
Y'all, it's their money. They can do whatever they want with it. It's not yours, so stop with the "I could've paid rent," "should've donated that money," etc. Do you know them personally? No? Stop judging so much.
I donât know anything about the Disneyland collectible pins, but last time I went with him, he was letting a little boy choose one of his pins to trade. The kid chose one of his favorite/rare pins and he gave my dad one of the pins you get for free at the shops. The kid was stoked, he might have been old enough to know what he was doing đ€
Yes please!!! I would love to see the pins!!!
idc much about the price, I just think they're nice. However I put them on display, letting them in some book is kinda sad
Should make a video of you guys attaching all those pins to a landlord and asking people to guess how many times youâve been to Disneyland
Lucky!! I canât even afford 1 đ
Ikrrđ
Wow thats one heck of a collection â€
Great find and buy yall đ.
Its great to be able to have the money to splurge for your hobby. A collector's item is pricy. I love Disney but honestly spending $2,000 is a bit...hm. Lucky for you to have the money, I guess.
Iâm more worried about the people who let Disney adults ruin their day. If you donât like it??? Then just go away?? You thinking itâs weird isnât going to stop anyone. Youâre just proving that other peoples happiness makes you upset.
cry harder like seriously đ
I agree. Iâm a Disney adult myself and yeah definitely wouldnât buy for $2,000. But each to (insert appropriate pronoun here) own. đ
Millennial Disney adults up to their usual antics
Iâm terrified of Disney adults
That translated to my cournecy is worth over 3 months of my university fees đą. I love pins, but wow. That's a lot of money!!!
Dude just paid his months rent with a bunch of metal
I WOULD'VE DIED FOR THEM!! I'm not even a Disney Adult but unlike those people here in the comments I do think it was a REALLY nice deal you got there. And the pins seems to be high quality (didn't see them personally but they look so), it's a collectors dream imo. You're so lucky!!!
This has to be a certified âïž moment at this point
Hang onto them because the older pins actually are worth a lot of money on eBay and craigslist. After a while they stop making a certain pen and they become in high demand so the longer you hang onto them the more valuable they become and also they're cute.
What you are looking for is in the library was one of my favorite reads of last year!
I wish I could afford to do thatâŠ
you got ripped off⊠he literally prolly packed up and left after yâall bought that đ
I would try to wangle down the price but as long as you are happy with your decision itâs fine! Itâs your money after all!
Yeh ripped off.
Why are people so bothered that she spent HER money on something she enjoys???
I'm finally not the only one that goes to swap meets and the ones that know swap meets aređ
Some people will never grow up, but I like it like that. I want to be that fun girl that girl that still jumps on a trampoline you give good vibes you too dude.
Disney adults scare me with how much money they spend on this stuff đ
Why? Why do you even care what other people spend their money on? Weird đ
Was it your money?
Micky mouse: huh huh stupid idiots
Same as you wasting your money on your interest, its the same just different interest. đđ
Personally not worth it for me but if you love pins and enjoying them, and can afford it then go for it. I don't get people hating on them for spending their own money on things they wanted.
i mean itâs a good deal because there are around 11 or 12 pins on each pad and 5 pages in each book and 12 x 5 is 60 and 60 x 3 is 180 and each pins can be around 14$ so 180 x 24 is 2520
Why do I think Disney adults are weird af but also think theyâd thrive during a zombie apocalypse?!
Must be nice being able to spend 2000 like that đ.
For all of them I say worth it
Considering that when you buy them new they can be like 10 dollars sometimes even more and if you find rare ones could be worth more
What a great swap meet!
I have that same sweater you have on!
and this is why you should always remember, get things you need, not what you want because these guys couldâve spent that 2000 on something WAY better then pins đ
Like what? đ€
@@pincessshannon things you actually need, you donât need pins

Thats Make you happy, Thats the most important đ
You and carter Kench spending 1700 okay a squishmallow make it hard to believe weâre not in a simulation
Dude I go to the Disney parks frequently and even I think thatâs insane
Ah yes just half my rent for a month

Wow lucky you! âïž
Sounds like a fair trade to me tbh
Itâs definitely worth it⊠you can kidnap children so much easier now with those cool pins
So thatâs two months of my rent ⊠cool cool cool cool
My husband and I have a huge Disney pin collection. I have 8 bags of Tinker Bell pins that weâve purchased over the last 20 years.
Oh my, thatâs a lot of tinker bell pins!! Jealous!!
Were they real or fake? I will never pay that much ever. Itâs like their ripping you off to just get it out of their life for good only. Thatâs sad that people now and days will just sell it at any price they want. Ik everyone need money, but if so then there are many other ways to do it better. There are always the right and the wrong way to selling your things.
All were real! đ
@@pincessshannon how did you determine that?
2000 real dollars on...pins? ok enough of the internet today
people in the comments section needs to stop. they spent $2000 for something absolutely timeless and priceless worth of pins. i love pins and brooches too. i know i would have tried to get them for cheaper but they will always be happy for their lifetime just looking at those pins. some of yâall can get a designer bag for $2000 that youâre probably too scared to wear them twice anyway. them disney fans are not weird just let them live GOD
people in this comment section really don't understand what collector is đ
Poll : who spends more Disney Adults or Sanrio Adults
3 books of Disney pins where most pins are $9-$14 a pop plus some are super rare. Itâs probably a deal for $2,000.
Usually pins are $7- 15, sometimes $20. Still rather pricey. But this guy just bought 2k of pinsđź crazy. At least he is so happy with his treasuređ. Plus he can always resell themđ
that is more money than i make in a year wtf đđ
I feel like everyone are like âWoah! 2k for pins! I donât have that kind of money & I donât like people being happy! So I am just going to hate them!â
Considering pins are at minimum 12 dollars a pop for the basic ones, itâs a deal! Now, would I spend 2000 on pins in one go? No, no really, but if youâre a collector itâs pretty worth it
Hey thatâs my backpack!
Is that an old navy sweater? I have it!
OMG WHERE DID YOU GET THAT GORGEOUS SWEATER?????
Omg we gots the same sweater we just got hood taste đ€©
Those are some good Disney drugs if I ever did see some myself. Ever come in with the worst stinky pins and totally find a real banger on a different cast members pin trade strap?
Great dopamine and serotonin rush while trading. Iâve only ever met really mean people with those pin books though that told me to get lost when I asked if they do pin trading, there loss, I had a cast exclusive pin that went for something because most cast didnât get one and mine was a rare coloring of it. Oh well. I would have traded it for their very adorable bambi and feline duo.
I wish I had that money laying around đ

For those universal fans who are hating on disney adults, yall are forgetting about potterheads lol
I didn't realize how big the Disney pin world is
I mean, collectors MEAN IT when they want to collect. Not that different from sneaker heads or art collectors. I don't collect myself, and would never spend that much money on pins, but it doesn't mean nearly as much to me as it does to the kind folks in the video. It's probably worth a lot more in the future anyways! So instead of judging, this of it as an investment.
This is so cool wish I could go I love diseny and wanna start collecting pins
